ZillowVERIFIED My girlfriend and I had been reviewing homes on Zillow for about a year for the purpose of becoming more familiar with the local market. We had no intention of buying because we believed that we were a few years out from having the level of savings that we desired for a down payment. We had multiple conversations with Andi about market trends and future uncertainty and ultimately came to the conclusion that at least being prepared to act if the right opportunity became available was the correct course of action. Andi introduced us to a lender that structured a financing solution that fit our needs perfectly and pre-approved us for a loan that enabled us to act when our dream home became available less than a month after our pre-approval. Going beyond the role of a traditional realtor would come to characterize our relationship. Andi wore so many hats and was a trusted advisor throughout the process.From social media, I could tell that Andi was active with other listings and closing other transactions, but it always felt like we were her only client. She was always immediately responsive to our questions and available for discussions. The fact that she was so kind and welcoming probably made us feel secure to reach out more than we otherwise would have and made us comfortable being very demanding of her time. We don't know how she was able to always be so responsive, while also representing other clients. We've thought about this deeply and have determined that the only logical conclusion is that there is more than one Andi...there's no other way to explain it.Andi was relentless in representing our interest with the Seller. We were heartbroken to learn that the seller had accepted a higher all-cash offer. Andi informed us that we shouldn't worry because these buyers don't always fulfil their obligation to fund their good faith deposit and that she would continue to reach out to the seller, who to this point had been largely unresponsive. I secretly questioned whether Andi's degree of persistence was beneficial when the seller wasn't even acknowledging our communications, but when the all-cash offer failed to perform as Andi suggested that it might, the seller was left to choose between our offer and another offer in an equal amount. The seller stated that if our persistence was any indication of our continuing interest, then the house was ours.We owe our new home to Andi and her excellent representation. Her judgment was impeccable! There were numerous times throughout the process where her recommendations were inconsistent with my instincts and every time she was right. She was always respectful of my views, even when I was wrong (which happened more often than I'd like to admit). She was incredibly patient and was a true professional. I could not have imagined receiving better representation.It is rare that you have an opportunity to do business with someone who is an expert in their field and is also of sound character. I thought that I was so on top of it by scouring Redfin any time a new listing popped up, but Andi found us a "coming soon" listing that had not hit the market yet. There weren't any pictures posted online at the time, but it was in an area that was on our list and so we asked her to set-up the appointment to see it. Once the house hit the market it was a feeding frenzy! ZillowVERIFIED Andi is the best of the best of the best of the best as both a sellers agent and buyers agent! Just over 4 years ago, my husband and I were looking for a home in the South Bay. We started with a different realtor, who was really nice and had years of experience, but not the right fit for what we needed. At that time, it was when there was a kind of tax rebate if you purchased a home, so it was a fast, multiple offer enviornment. Andi was so patient in showing us homes and she has the greatest input. While on our way to see a house, we stopped at an open house not in our price range. We loved it and Andi put in a offer for us, for a multiple offer situation. Don't let her beauty and grace fool you, she is a very strong intelligent "mover and shaker" to have on your side. She was so on top of her game, the sellers broker called her a bulldog, then asked her to please join his brokerage. He gave us a really hard time too. We got the house! Now fast forward 3 years to the end of 2013. My husband was promoted and we had to move out of state in 3 months. Andi was on top of everything And the clock was ticking. She came by, helped gave us some pointers helped us stage our homes, and it was MAGNIFICENT! We got multiple offers great within days. We accepted the best offer that we were so happy with, and there were so many issues with the buyers realtor. He lied, he didn't call her back, he avoided her. It was a mess! It turned out that the buyer had an issue with the financing side, then the financing company had their own issues. We had already moved everything out and was 1000 miles away, when we heard absolutely nothing from the buyer's agent on the close escrow date. He then called and begged to extend it. What was to be a 30 day escrow, turned into a 75+ day escrow with over 5 extensions. It was a really difficult time for us carrying that mortgage and having to worry about putting the house on the market again from so far away. I can't thank Andi enough. She goes above and beyond and unfortunately, this was one of those situations where we needed that. She was working on this sale daily and was so quick to keep us updated. She was so calm and level-headed and thinking two steps ahead. Thank goodness she was there to help us andwe finally closed Feb 2014. This is why I say "the best of the best, of the best of the best!"
