FAQ
Start with a clear understanding of what you can comfortably afford and what matters most in your next home. I recommend speaking with a lender early, getting preapproved, and accounting for closing costs and ongoing expenses before touring properties.
During my complimentary buyer consultation, I help you establish priorities, understand the local market, and prepare for each step of the purchase. When we find the right home, I evaluate comparable sales, discuss potential concerns, and develop an offer strategy that balances competitiveness with your financial comfort. My goal is for you to feel informed, supported, and confident—not pressured.
Before spending money on renovations or choosing a listing price, get a clear picture of your home’s position in the market. The right preparation, pricing, and presentation can make a meaningful difference in both buyer interest and your final proceeds.
I help my sellers decide which improvements deserve their attention, then develop a marketing plan that highlights what makes their property special. Professional photography, compelling video, and targeted promotion help bring the home to buyers’ attention. Once offers arrive, I look beyond the purchase price to evaluate financing, contingencies, and timing. My focus is on negotiating strong terms while keeping your next move and financial goals in view.
I have worked with first-time buyers, experienced homeowners, luxury buyers and sellers, investors, and clients relocating to New Jersey. My experience includes single-family homes, condominiums, townhomes, multifamily properties, and new construction.
Each client comes with different priorities. Some need a detailed introduction to the buying process; others want an investment analysis or a thoughtful plan for selling and purchasing their next home. I tailor my guidance to those needs and stay closely involved throughout the transaction. I also speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese, which allows me to serve clients in the language they feel most comfortable using.
One transaction I am particularly proud of involved buyers whose inspections uncovered an underground oil tank, significant structural concerns, and a sewer line that needed replacement. These findings raised serious questions about the cost and condition of the home.
I helped my buyers understand the findings, coordinated with their attorney and inspection professionals, and negotiated an $18,000 seller credit. The seller also had the oil tank removed before closing. My buyers ultimately closed with those issues addressed through the removal and negotiated credit. It was a meaningful reminder of how careful preparation, thorough inspections, and steady negotiation can make a real difference for a client.
I came to real estate with a sales background and a degree from the University of Tulsa. That experience gave me a strong foundation in listening to clients, understanding their priorities, and negotiating on their behalf. Real estate brings those skills together with my interest in homes, design, and renovation. Today, I use that combination to help buyers recognize a property’s possibilities and help sellers present their homes thoughtfully. I value earning a client’s trust and helping them make a decision they feel good about long after closing.
I hold the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designations. My ABR training strengthens the guidance I provide buyers, while my SRES training helps me support clients navigating downsizing and housing decisions later in life. I also continue to develop my skills in negotiation, marketing, and client communication. My negotiation approach emphasizes careful listening, thoughtful questions, and understanding what matters to the other party. For my clients, that means clear advice, thorough preparation, and purposeful negotiation throughout the transaction.
