After being tired of looking at overpriced country houses in the Catskills and Hudson Valley, I turned my focus towards northern Jersey (mark my words: this area is going to become the next hot county home region). Zillow suggested her through a shot in the dark (thanks, Zillow) and I reached out l. Within minutes, she called me, we chatted and she sent me about 30 listings to look at in the Skylands region. She said to pick 5 or so and we would look that Saturday. We saw 5 hours in 3 different counties that day and I found my house and closed 2 months later. Our house was in Knowlton Township and she knows Blairstown- Knowlton Township well. Having lived on the same property since 1982, we were not up to speed on the real estate market as it is today. No worries. Amylinn had it covered. She was patient but not patronizing as she explained the ins and outs of todays sales market. Amylinn brought in a photographer who showed our home to its best advantage. Our house was on the market for a very short time before we had a full price offer so there were no open houses or other events by which to judge the realty firm. She saw us through to a successful closing and we are extremely grateful of her efforts and support. ZillowVERIFIED After 22 years of renting I decided it was time to pull the trigger on an empty nester to call our own and live happily ever after. Amylinn was our first choice because she helped us get into our beautiful last rental and she was attentive but patient every time we toyed with the idea of purchasing a home. Once we decided she hopped right on the task of meeting our wish list in relation to our budget. Through the deep snows of 2015 she took us to some great places. She even got us to think outside our box of ideas. Once we found The Placeright where we hoped we could live from the beginning, she went right to work, and I mean work! We had a difficult seller attached to our house. And we even walked away from the deal once. But we eventually made our way back to the place and Amylinn was very understanding and worked hard to get the deal done! I cant even begin to explain the roller coaster ride to make this a fair deal for us but with Amylinn at the helm we kept our faith! She would not let us get the short end of the stick and advised us quickly when it looked like that might happen. One skill that eludes many agents is her ability to listen and carefully pay attention to her clients needs. ZillowVERIFIED Couldnt be happier with my experiences with Amylinn . . WORKS HARD TO GET WHAT YOU WANT: I really wanted one particular condo, but was outbid. I gave up, but Amylinn didnt. A few weeks later she called me back to tell me the original buyer had pulled out. Turns out she was keeping an eye on it the whole time and called the seller the second she heard the original deal fell through. KNOWS THE MARKET: She is very up-to-date on the latest sales prices etc, and also very good at pointing out the pros-and-cons of a place. She was able to provide me with multiple contacts for further services such as insurance, contractors, repairs etc and NEVER pushed me to use one over the other. AFTER SALES SERVICE: Even after I bought my units, Amylinn continued to help me out. She gave me advice on which flooring to install and helped me figure out where my association bills should be paid (I am an overseas buyer). She also found me excellent tenants for my properties. I am still in contact with her nine months after the sale went through and feel safe knowing she has my best interests at heart.
