Amy was excellent to work with purchasing our home. She asked a lot of questions to really help us figure out what was most important on our wish list and worked within our budget. She was patient, showed us lots of houses and kept in contact with us the whole time. She showed us places we hadn't considered on our own and that's how we found our new home! 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
As a buyer, focus on three key steps: First, get pre-approved for a mortgage to understand your budget and strengthen your offer. Second, prioritize your needs versus wants, and be flexible with location or features to find the right fit. Finally, work with a trusted real estate agent who knows the Snohomish County market to guide you through negotiations and avoid pitfalls. Patience and preparation are your best tools for a successful purchase.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
To sell your home successfully, start by pricing it competitively based on a comparative market analysis to attract serious buyers. Next, enhance your home’s appeal with decluttering, minor repairs, and professional staging to make a strong first impression. Finally, work with an experienced Snohomish County agent to navigate offers, negotiate effectively, and ensure a smooth closing process. Timing and presentation are critical to maximizing your sale price.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with everyone from first-time home buyers to Luxury Home Sellers, builders, developers, and everyone in between. You would be hard pressed to find a Real Estate Broker with more experience than I have.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I am fond of so many transactions; I truly love what I do. Most recently, I helped a young family sell a home that was on the market last year but didn't sell. This time, they listed it with me, and we sold it within 2 weeks and found them their next family home. We were on a tight timeline as she was 9 months pregnant and wanted to be in the house before the new arrival. All was successful, and we achieved their goals!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I started young with a passion for real estate and real estate investing. It has led to a lifetime career in Real Estate with over 20+ years in the business.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
In my 20+ years in real estate, I have done tons of continuing education, training, coaching, and building business skills. I would liken my real estate education to having a Master's Degree in Real Estate!
