It became the best home. In 2023 we took on upwards of 7" from Hurricane Idalia water intrusion which was overwhelming. I had just finished remodeling the bathrooms and kitchen a week before we were devastated by Helene with 38" of water. Pretty much everything we own got ruined. I debated if we were going to rebuild again or sell our home with my son now in college. It was tough, I wanted every dollar possible - reassurance unloading was the right decision. Amy was respectful of my choices, patient with offers to maximize this down to the studs sale and reminded throughout the whole process that we didn't have to sell - I appreciated her sensitivity and empowering me to do what was in my best interest short / long term. ZillowVERIFIED My roommate and I were interested in renting one of the properties that Amy is in charge of. We were going back and forth asking questions about the property and asked for a showing. In the midst of this we started working with a real estate agent and were touring houses with them, but we found Amys property on Zillow prior to working with the agent so we were continuing conversation with her the way we started. When she found out we were touring with an agent she requested a phone call with us and asked to be put on speaker phone and to chat with our agent. She immediately started bad talking my roommate and complaining about how she didnt have enough time for questions because she was busy at a baby shower and we were inconveniencing her plans. My roommate is highly allergic to cats and the current tenant has a cat and there are carpets, so she asked about how clean the tenant is and if theyd clean before our move in which you would have thought was the most inconvenient question of all times to ask. She continued on her rant with our agent for 4-5 minutes bad mouthing us while we heard the whole thing. We would have been totally fine with being told today wasnt a good day to tour and going on another day; however, her behavior and attitude was very unprofessional so we decided to skip out on the property. I recommend going to literally anyone else in Tampa aside from Amy if youre looking to have an enjoyable experience finding a home.
