In 2014, due to some family matters, we needed to sell our life long home in South Jordan. The market wasnt exactly booming. We were under the gun and only had one month, the month of September, to get it done. Amy was referred to us from a couple of our friends who she helped and she really came through. We were able to sell our home to a young growing family by the end of the month. Fast forward to 2025. From late August we began our search for a home to use as a rental until our son and his family could take over. Hello Amy! She found exactly what we were looking for, in a nice West Jordan neighborhood, with a great location. Close to I-15 as well as schools and shopping. On October 8th, we closed! Amy, as usual, took great care with our needs. Helped us locate a mortgage lender, an insurance broker, a contractor, a landscaper and a resource for new carpeting. She showed us a number of properties through her website and when we settled on one, she previewed it first with pictures and her thoughts. She answered all of our concerns and even met with us and our contractor for a walkthrough before we made our decision. She communicated with the selling agent and negotiated the price point we were looking for! Honestly, she is the best decision you will ever make when youre ready to dip your toe in. Give her a call. I was out-of-state, so she took the time to give me a Facetime tour of the home and keep me abreast throughout the proceedings. What sets Amy apart from others is her knowledge of the area, efficiency, expertise, and care and concern. Knowledge of the area - After listening to our three major criteria for our new home, Amy immediately thought of a particular area that would best suit our needs. She is extremely familiar with various neighborhoods and cities throughout the area. Efficiency - Amy sent us listings before we went to look at homes so she could get a feel of what we liked and didn't like. She could then schedule visits of the homes that might best suit our family. She communicated clearly by text, e-mail, and phone calls and used the most efficient method depending on our schedules and the issues that needed to be addressed. Her paperwork was thorough. Our closing officer mentioned that she had never had any problems with Amy's contracts. Expertise - Amy is always trying to learn more about anything and everything. Because she asks questions and has that desire to constantly learn as much as she can about anything she can, she has a wealth of knowledge, resources, and contacts that she can share with her clients. She does thorough research to make sure that prices are comparable others on the market. She has moved her family multiple times within the area, so she knows firsthand about various issues when buying and selling homes. After we moved in, we had a little difficulty with the home warranty company approving a claim. She went above and beyond to contact the company and make sure we were served well. Care and concern - When Amy was helping us buy our home, I felt as if she cared as much as if she were buying a home for her own family. Even after we closed, she continued to contact us to make sure everything was going well and if we had any concerns or questions or if there was anything she could do to help. After we closed and moved into our new home, snow melted and we noticed that the sellers had left their Christmas tree in our front yard. We did not have a convenient way to get the tree to the nearby city park for the city's recycling program. Amy contacted the sellers, but learned that the sellers had their hands full with plumbing issues in their new home. Amy arranged to have the Christmas tree picked up and delivered to the city park. I was very impressed by her concern not only for us, her clients, but also the sellers who were the ones with the obligation by contract to take care of the tree. Amy is the epitome of customer service because she has a tremendous caring heart for all around her. Because we are new to the state, she also offered help in acclimating to the area with everything from her sharing her favorite grocery stores to exercise locations to activities for our children. Three months later, we still contact her to ask for her advice and expertise about the area. She is quick to respond to any question or concern throughout and after the home-buying process. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Amy Gibbons.
