A little about me... I relocated to Oak Ridge, TN with my family in 2005. I understand how exciting yet stressful a move can be, especially when there are children involved. Amy is very professional and detail oriented in what she does. She goes out of her way to give great information about properties prior to showing them in order to not waste your time. She gets to know her clients and prospects based on what that client is looking for. Amy know what we wanted in a home better then we did. She was so very patient with us and took lots of time to find just the right fit for us. In the end, she insisted we look at a certain house we have rejected from the pictures, so we did. We fell in love the minute we walked into the house. Amy was always going the extra mile to ensure the selling of my home was as EASY as possible. I thought selling my rental property after moving four hours away would be a dreadful experience, but she made everything flow smoothly. She was in constant contact with me every step of the way, got in contact with a contractor, and made sure all of the necessary repairs were completed prior to closing. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

Bottom line upfront: If you are looking for someone (buyers agent in our case) who is professional, HARD-WORKING, knowledgeable, and actually cares about YOU and your needs, look no further. Details below. I am very excited to be writing this review for Amy. I am pretty picky when it comes to hiring professionals whether it be be realtors, contractors, or babysitters. Lately, I've felt a little disappointed in the professionals I've interviewed to the point where I'm wondering if maybe I just cannot expect other people to live up to my expectations. Enter Amy Connolly. We recently moved to Tennessee and first impression is that everyone is friendly! This is great! However, I feel like many people believe this will compensate for competence....or that this is enough to go on for a hire. I'm a member of the "prove it to me" generation. Amy was recommended by our realtor in California who said she is "very involved in the real estate network." My husband and I independently got in touch with 2 other agents to make sure we cast a wide net and picked the best. Amy immediately stood out because she asked more detailed questions, saw what kind of people we were, and met our needs. I research everything. The other 2 agents put me on an automatic feed that sent me listings that met my criteria. In short, they didn't come up with anything that I hadn't been looking at already. Amy was willing to think outside the box. She was great at finding listings that I would not think of or would not have access to. This is the first real estate transaction where I didn't feel I had to fight my own agent on every negotiation in addition to the opposing realtor. She was honest, and this was clear with the comps she presented and the fact that she kept me informed. Unlike the home sale in California, I didn't feel I had to pull information out of her. I'd say I was a fairly demanding client. We looked at one house nearly every day, sometimes 2 a day for a month and discussed many, many, many more. In addition, I have a baby and a toddler that aren't exactly respectful of my need to thoroughly examine each home and Amy happily helped me keep them occupied. She was so involved in my older son's life that we have had to maintain play-dates so that they can stay in touch. Even after we had an offer accepted, she was very involved in our visits to the house and she didn't suddenly lose interest in us once we were under contract. Despite the fact that I like to find my own contacts and from previous experiences, I've learned not to just blindly accept references from agents, Amy is a great resource for referrals. She put us in touch with every kind of service we could need from mortgage brokers to home inspectors, security companies, contractors, pest control, you name it. She has a good working relationship with numerous people in the real estate network and it definitely works in your favor. I am extremely grateful that Amy has been one of the first people we met here in Tennessee. Simply put, she cares, she works hard and she is a wonderful human being. Combine this with competence and experience and you really can't ask for anything more.
