ZillowVERIFIED Amanda is amazing and so easy to work with! I interviewed three agents prior to selecting her. She stood out from all the others because of her professional presentation of her company and self, but more importantly, she showed and sincere hunger and interest in representing me and my husband. The other agents seemed offended or ill prepared when I asked them to meet with me to interview to be my agent. Amanda understood that this was an important transaction and that "fit" was just as important to me as skill. Additionally, she had a strong and professional team of people with her in her office that made the process smooth and comfortable. If I had a question that she couldn't easily answer, she ensured I got that answer quickly and accurately from one of her associates. (I was looking more in the downtown KC area, which wasn't her normal selling territory, but she was a super fast learner and was eager to expend whatever energy she needed to to find a house where we wanted to be!) If I emailed her with thoughts and ideas, she was open to them and made adjustments to listing filters to help me. We had a great time looking at houses together and she "got" me and my husbands needs and style very quickly, which was important. Additionally, Amanda and the agency are unique with respect to the post sale process. They don't "forget you" after the sale closes. You get personal notes and invites from the agency to attend various social outings-from movies to happy hours. There's no pressure to attend, but it's refreshing to have an agent stay in touch with you and continue to be open to helping and expanding the professional relationship even after the house closing. I know I can still call Amanda for a recommendation on a contractor, or if I have a random real estate question. I know....because I have, and was always treated like I was valued.

ZillowVERIFIED As a first time homebuyer in a quick selling market I didt know what to expect. I looked at a property listed by a different agent, but the seller did not go with my offer. Since I didnt get that house, I asked the listing agent if he knew any similar places in my price range. He offered to help find me something that would meet my checklist. Communication with him was slow and with everything selling so quickly, I didnt have time to wait. I contacted him on a Saturday morning when I found a new listing that I was very interested in to see if we could get a showing. Later that day after visiting my brother my parents noticed a house for sale having an open house in his neighborhood. Knowing it was going to be out of my budget, I didnt really want to go look, but my mom convinced me to just go look and see. I am so thankful that we went and looked at that house, not because I was able to buy the house (which yes, was out of my budget), but because I met Amanda! I explained my situation to her and told her the agent I was working with hadnt responded to me about the place I was anxiously waiting to see, and his response time had already caused me to miss out on other properties. She took down my information and told me she would contact the listing agent for the new listing I had found. After the open house Amanda did just that. She was able to get the information and show me the property the very next day! Which I might add was Sunday, her day off! I fell in love and we put in an offer that day. Through the roller coaster ride of negotiations and proving finances beyond a preapproval letter Amanda and the team at Ron Henderson and Associates were right there acting fast doing everything they could to make sure I would get the house. Finally the seller accepted my offer! Amanda helped every step of the way from negotiations, checking in, closing, and still continues to check in and see how things are going and invited me to fun events that Ron Henderson and Associates hosts. I could not be more pleased with my experience with Amanda and the team.

Next, we conducted email interviews and then personal interviews with each Realtor. When we interviewed Amanda, it was clear she was the Realtor for us. Filled with energy and with the heart of a teacher, she described the entire process and proposed strategy, from presale marketing to closing. She made us comfortable with the process, and we felt assured she would conduct it according to our wishes. The presale marketing created an incredible buzz, and by the time our home went on the market, we had over 20 showings and seven offers within 24 hours, all over asking price! We accepted a cash offer, 30K over asking price, and as-is condition. From start to finish, Amanda was incredibly responsive to us and all potential buyers. Whether by phone, email, or in person, Amanda was there, every time. The closing process was seamless and took place in Amandas wonderful office spaces.
