I had contacted a listing agent regarding a home I was interested in and was told someone would contact me to set up a time to see the home. Less than 10 minutes later my phone rang and it was Amanda contacting me about that home. In our conversation I realized she wasnt a realtor with the listing agent but had contacted me in response to a request to see the home I had also submitted online. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and after learning that this was my first experience house hunting on my own, she was eager to share all sorts of helpful information, including that she was a Homes for Heros Realtor. I remember telling her that I wasnt in the military and that wouldn't apply to me. She proceeded to tell me that since I was an educator it would apply to me! That's how it all began and throughout the entire process she was the best! She was always available to answer any questions no matter how many I had....and I had a lot!! She was quick to respond, knowledgeable, no pressure, very down to earth and friendly and patient. We were first time home buyers and didn't know nothing of the process but Amanda handled all the phone calls, Emails, etc. Then translated everything to me in simple English so I could understand. Amanda will go 100 per cent out of her way to help in the process. My son passed away during our home buying process and Amanda was there for me through all that. I was bless with a amazing Realitor but never thought I'd end up with such a dear friend.
