The buying process was seamless and we were able to close in time to host Thanksgiving dinner for 20 guests. Fast forward two years and we reached out to Ally again. Relocation for work required us to put our house on the market, so we trusted Ally to be our agent for this side of the real-estate process. Ally advised us on the asking price, based on the market values for the area. She contacted a professional photographer who was able to deliver photos in under 24 hours. ZillowVERIFIED I left the Pacific Northwest a few years ago and was ready to return. I knew I wanted to buy a home but didn't know anyone in the Salem area that could refer me to a real estate agent. The agent selling my house at the time did some research and referred me to Ally. My house was on the market and, thinking things would move quickly and smoothly from there, we met with Ally and discussed areas in Salem. We did some driving around neighborhoods and let her know that I would be in touch as soon as my house went into contract. While that took longer than we thought it would, Ally was not pushy or impatient. My house went into contract and I moved into a temporary rental and began looking with Ally. There were a lot of obstacles that were out of our control. The market was very competetive, the house I was selling fell out of contract once, we came across some unreasonable sellers... but throughout it Ally was great at keeping us moving forward. There was a point where we became so frustrated with the market that I had a bit of a meltdown. Ally took the entire day with us to talk through options of how to lessen the frustrations we were experiencing and to look at some more homes. At the end of that day she showed us pictures of a house that was available and asked if we'd like to see it. The pictures did not impress me but we were at that point where we were really willing to look at anything. We got to the house and truly fell in love with it. We couldn't stop talking the whole way home about how perfect it was for us. We worked through an offer and it was accepted! Now, one would hope that the hard part was over but that was not to be! The house was a for sale by owner and we hit many bumps with this owner. Ally shielded us as much as she was able from the issues coming from the seller. We got through the inspection, the appraisal and... even with some last minute shenanigans on the sellers part... we got through the sale! Ally went so far above and beyond in her dealings with this seller, it was impressive. She has a soft approach which can give you the impression that she may get pushed around but that is wrong. When it came down to it she held our ground and really fought for what was in our best interest. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking in the area.

When we arrived in Salem, she had things planned to make the best of the time we had available. She was very responsive to our questions sent by e-mail or phone.
