Moving is a stressful enough event, but Allen was always the one bright part that made the move more tolerable. When selling our home, I had to travel and my wife, Melissa, was responsible for getting the house ready to sell - she will tell you that Allen was a Godsend for her while getting the house ready to sell. The pictures that were taken were professionally done and that was what ultimately sold the house. The buyer looked at the pictures and wanted to make an offer on the house that afternoon. We got the full asking price in a pretty tough market at the time. He is the ultimate professional when it comes to buying and selling a house. About 12 years ago we purchased a condo in Mesa, AZ for our daughter to live in while going to ASU. The purchase was made more difficult by the fact that we live near Seattle, WA, and couldn't personally check out each unit that came available. Allen did all the leg work for us, sending photos and advice on each find. In the end we found and purchased a condo that our daughter loved. Now, 12 years later, Allen was invaluable to us in our sale of the condo. He saw to it that all the work needed to prep the place for sale was done and done properly. He kept us informed when there were any issues, and handled them quickly and professionally. When the offers started coming in, he helped us to navigate through all the different requests for concessions and to pick the best buyer. In the end, we were elated with the outcome of the sale, and very thankful to have had Allen and The Studebaker-Smith Group working for us. I can not recommend them any higher. We've known him for many years as we bought our starter home from him when we moved to Arizona in 2003. As our family grew, we began looking for a "move up" home for the last several years on and off. Allen always showed us homes no matter how "serious" we were at the time. Finally, when it came time to list our home for sale, his team wrote an amazing listing and took such wonderful photos that we had a bidding war and we had FIVE offers within 3 days! We eventually settled with a buyer at an above market price that Allen negotiated. We couldn't be happier with he sale of our home. Allen also helped us find our next home which is absolutely amazing. The home is large, spacious, and my wife ands kids love it! In addition, I'm a car enthusiast and this home has garage space for up to 20 cars (yes twenty)! We pinch ourselves everyday wondering if we're really living in such a wonderful place! What I didn't expect was the over-the-top customer service that I received after I was under contract, and again after I closed. I am an out of town buyer, so meeting contractors to obtain bids was difficult. Allen coordinated and met many people on my behalf, handled all inspections, and kept in close contact with me every step of the way. He was awesome. Yesterday I received a message from Allen saying he had the house cleaned for me in advance of my arrival this weekend. Perfect! There are many real estate brokers out there. ZillowVERIFIED We were originally referred to Allen to purchase a second home in the Scottsdale/Cave Creek area. From our first phone conversation to escrow closing Allen was the ultimate professional. We spent a few weeks looking at listings online and we scheduled a trip (from Chicago) to look at the homes we really liked. Allen spent his entire Saturday and most of Sunday showing us those homes. Prior to our arrival he carefully scoped each home to make sure it matched the criteria we established during our initial conversation and weeded out some that missed the mark and recommended some others that were new listings etc. Once the offer was made and accepted Allen stayed on top of every detail of follow up. Allen was thoughtful and communicative through the entire process. Fast forward 8 months and we were fortunate enough to find jobs in the Phoenix area. However our home was about an hour away from one of our offices. We worked with Allen to get our home listed. With the hard work of Allen and his team two open houses were hosted and we received an offer that first weekend. The team is the best we've ever encountered and are fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with such professionals.
