At our first meeting, she looked at my current home and was very honest about its value and appeal at the time. She helped me compile a list of updates to improve selling price, and put me in touch with solid contractors to help with the work. Throughout the summer, she remained helpful and checked in with me regularly, encouraging me as I made progress on my home, and her practical task list kept me on track to move forward. When I found my dream home, she helped me with the right tactics to be chosen among the multiple offers. When it came time to actually sell my house, there was nothing she wouldnt do. Alina rolled up her sleeves and got to work with me, willing to help with cleanup, staging, venting about how tough everything was... as a single mom going through this process, Alina became and helped me grow my village of support. At the end of the day, I ended up with multiple offers over asking, and the updates she suggested made me an additional $70k on top of what we could have sold the house for when we first met. Alina has become a friend, is a joy to work with, approaches situations realistically, has amazing connections, and is everything I never knew I always wanted in a realtor. I highly recommend her!

We had an idea of where we wanted to relocate to, however we knew little about the market or process there which was different than what we were familiar with. We didn't know if we wanted a house or a townhouse. We also had a house to sell first. We began working with Alina in May of 2018 and finally closed on our new house in January 2019. Alina began by taking us to various communities in our area of interest so that we could determine which one to focus on. She provided us with insights on how to proceed with the sale of our current home when the market there slowed somewhat. She took us to a considerable number of listings (some multiple times) which was difficult to coordinate with our out of state status. ZillowVERIFIEDMy son recently closed on his first home after an exhaustive and nerve-wracking search during a CRAZY time in local real estate. Six months ago, he and his girlfriend set up a budget, narrowed down their geography, and jumped into the "starter home open house crawl" where they met Alina who was representing a seller. That particular home wasn't right for them, but her energy, enthusiasm, and warmth impressed them immediately and they allowed Alina into their search club (which inevitably included every family member on both sides who had a Zillow app). Our son works two jobs and attends classes at night to further his degree, and his girlfriend, being in management, works irregular and long hours.... Alina made herself available to them around their unusual schedules and did her best to step in when they could not attend an OH. She very quickly nailed their style, preferences and concessions and was able to move them quickly through each process of submitting two offers (slightly over asking) on two previous homes: The insanity of offering 50K over asking (for a starter home!) won someone else the first bid, and unprofessional behind-the-scenes tactics on the part of the sellers agent on the second home lost the kids the second bid ..... but through those heart-breaking disappointments, Alina never faltered, she maintained a truly positive and optimistic attitude and never stopped forging ahead when the rest of us were drained. When our kids finally landed on this - their new home - Alina was a pro on moving them through the bid, acceptance, inspection and P&S negotiation process. She was firm and knowledgeable (and educated each one of us along the way). The kids could not have managed this unprecedented "starter/downsizer" market without her guidance - all the old rules of search and negotiation have changed (with such limited inventory and too many buyers) and Alina understands what is necessary to navigate that change. The industry is lucky to have an agent with her integrity, intelligence, impeccable style and wisdom as a homeowner/downsizer/current renovator ...
