Alice was very familiar with the Naperville area and thats what we needed as we were not familiar with the area but were looking to buy a house in the city. She was professional, efficient and patient. She always responded to our questions very quickly, and gave us constructive advice. She was able to give us ballpark of some minor updates we think the house needed when doing a house tour so that we have a better idea what we would likely need to spend after closing the house, allowing us to make a more informed purchase decision. Alice helped us craft a good offer and she got our offer accepted in a highly competitive market. She was very quick to schedule showings and arranged her other team members to help with the showings when shes unavailable. Her team member, Jim and Brooke, helped show us two properties and they were both knowledgeable and very personable. ZillowVERIFIED I believe only truth matters, Yes we have several properties in Naperville area, and agreement was if Alice and her team were able to find quality applicants then they would get their commission, I had informed her before the contract that the houses are listed on Zillow, No promise was ever made for property management, we asked for help and were willing to pay the fee for the help. After I found two quality applicants myself, Alice still demanded a full months rent when our agreement was if I found the tenant she would get half of the rent as commission which was fair and mutually agreed, Alice repeatedly expressed her paranoia about Zillow and how Zillow would get bad applicants etc. In fact Zillow rental manager has been life changing and amazing, All the landlords should try it, these realtors (most of them) are only interested in their commission and will ignore your screening requests or criteria even if within legal parameters, I had two exceptional ones for years before they went into commercial leasing etc. The Tenant who was checked in by Alice was so disappointed that the tenant also self reported he would publish a negative review. Not to mention Alice has told us during walk out with previous tenant that our property was in excellent condition but when this new applicant moved in, we had to spend thousands of dollars to fix the issues beyond normal wear and tear and not noticed or documented by Alice/Team. Zillow Rental Manager is Excellent Resource and encourage everyone to use it. Gets you immediate responses and also quality applicants which you can screen via the Zillow application.

The initial consultation with Brett Stone was very informative. He gave me an option of putting the house on the market as is or consider putting a little money into upgrades so we could list the house at higher asking price. After completing the updates Brett was able to get the house listed within a few days and the showings almost started immediately. The entire Alice Chin team was involved. I understand individual brokers are very busy so the team concept really works when you are trying to sell your house. Based on the comps in my area, I thought Brett?s evaluation of the asking price was right in line with what I was looking for. The house did sell in about three weeks near the asking price. ZillowVERIFIED Where do I begin? Alice and her team were amazing. Alice was a total pleasure to work with and her team was so attentive and made the process as easy as something as stressful as selling your house/finding a new house could be. She knows the Naperville area well and at our first meeting had a book (a literal book) of comps so we could discuss where to list our townhouse at. She had a list of preferred lenders, lawyers and other vendors and that made things easier on us too. Everyone Alice recommended was great. When we realized we could not buy again in the pricepoint we wanted to, we decided renting a larger home for a couple years would be best. Alices team helped us find a rental home as well. Britta from Alices team took us to 6 rental homes and I ended up liking the last one we saw. Britta handled all of the correspondence and questions about the new rental home and did a walk-through with us, I felt she was really supportive of us and really enjoyed working with her. Back to our sale.... Our townhouse, staged, photographed & looking pristine, went on the market on a Thursday afternoon. By the end of the day we already had 5 showings scheduled for the following day and more scheduled for the next day after that (Saturday). We ended up having 2 offers after the Friday showings. We had an additional 11 showings on Saturday and ended up getting a total of 6 offers, 4 over ask, 3 all cash. We never thought wed get into a multiple-offer situation! We ended up taking the best all-cash offer with a quick closing (about 3.5-4 weeks). We also had 7 more requests for showings the Sunday (3 days after the listing) that we declined--I just wanted to have a contract in hand and stop having showings--with 3 young kids it was hard to leave the house for all of the showings the 2 days we had to. So we had a total 23 showing requests; 6 offers; 4 over ask; 3 all-cash. Pretty amazing. Alice was always available on messenger/text/phone when I needed her throughout the process and could also add marriage counselor to her resume as well since the selling/renting/buying process puts a lot of stress on your relationship! She helped make sure we were all on the same page and going in the right direction with the sale. Alice was very hands on and had a great supportive team that also were helping along the way. Britta and Brittany from her team specifically were great to work with. I will be working with Alice + the Alice Chin Team again when we buy in a couple of years. She was so knowledgable, attentive, kind and assertive and sold my home QUICKLY. I know she will help us find our dream home when the time comes!
