Ali Thompson

Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Get pre-approved early and work with a local REALTOR® who knows the Central Texas market. I help buyers in Temple, Belton, Salado, and Fort Cavazos relocations find homes that fit their lifestyle and long-term value goals.

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Price strategically, prepare your home, and market it with professional photos and targeted digital outreach. My team specializes in showcasing everything from Lake Belton estates to historic Temple homes so sellers achieve top dollar.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

I’ve worked with first-time buyers, military relocations, luxury home clients, investors, and families moving up or downsizing. Every client gets a personalized plan to make the process smooth and stress-free.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

I recently helped a military family relocate to Belton, buying their home sight-unseen with video tours and detailed insights. They closed smoothly and loved their new home in Lake Belton ISD — a reminder of why I love what I do.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

I started in real estate over 20 years ago with a passion for helping people and building community. Since then, I’ve served as Temple-Belton Board of REALTORS® President and built a team known for expertise and fun.

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

I’m a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE). These designations, plus my experience with military moves and waterfront homes, give my clients a competitive advantage.

Ali is the best! Because I lived across country, I didnt have a lot of time to look for a home. She knows the area inside and out. She showed me several existing homes in my price range and also a new home development area. I chose to build a home, which took about 6 months. Ali kept me apprised of the progress from the ground breaking to the loan closing. She was thorough and professional and great to work with. She was honest and forthright - no games. I highly recommend Ali!

I highly recommend Ali Thompson for both buying and selling a home. My husband and I worked with her and were extremely satisfied with her professionalism and responsiveness. Ali really seemed to have our best interests at heart as we looked for a home. She patiently watched the market and jumped on the opportunity when the ideal home became available. It was just what we were hoping for. Ali was friendly yet tenacious throughout negotiations and the buying process. She also sold our previous home in the first weekend it was listed. Ali is genuine, warm, fun to work with, and a go-getter. She has a high standard of excellence and commitment to her clients.

Ali Thompson has been nothing short of a blessing during the process of selling our home. She fully evaluated the surrounding listings and comps, spoke with the other listing agent, and finally made a recommendation regarding a sales price. She made some very simple changes improving curb appeal. Listing pictures were professionally done which really helped our home stand out from the others. Within 24 hours we had an offer on our home for full asking price! She walked us through every step and proved to be an invaluable resource through the process. Her knowledge, compassion, and patience made the entire experience simple and enjoyable. We will undoubtedly use her for every real estate transaction in the future.

Alis professionalism and market knowledge are outstanding assets. Shes also very skilled when it comes to sitting down at the negotiating table. She knows the builders and other realtors in town and understands how to get the best deal available. I would highly recommend working with her if you are in the market to buy or sell.
