Before making Oregon her home in 2010 she attended the University of Denver Masters program in Landscape Architecture, and received B.A. degrees in both History and Psychology at the University of Colorado, Boulder. After my parents passed away, I needed to sell their home which was complicated by the fact that I lived a state away. Alexis was instrumental in helping me navigate this difficult time. In addition to executing well on typical realtor responsibilities such as pricing and listing strategy, negotiation, and patiently explaining things to her clients, Alexis went the extra mile to compensate for me being out of state. She was able to budget for improvements and repairs and sub-contract to local workers. I was always impressed with her advice on what things were worthy of investment as well as how good she was at connecting with quality workers and competitive pricing. The modest improvements we made to the home were executed quickly, on budget, and I was very impressed with the quality of the upgrades. Alexis's communication was excellent. I was getting timely detailed updates on progress which was all the more necessary for me since I was so far away. I was extremely satisfied with all phases of the project and would recommend Alexis to anyone.

I'm an out of State buyer on behalf of my daughter who lives in Portland. They saw a house, sent me some info, and I called a local Real Estate firm for information. I talked with Alexis who was highly informed. It was the last day for offers to be submitted, and she arranged extra time so my daughters could view the property, one being an architect and builder. They recognized the quality of an earlier remodel and upgraded design. Alexis got detailed info from sellers on the property and a previous buyer default. Alexis also advised me how to do a 1031 exchange with the purchase preceding sale of an existing property. That was enough to allow to allow me to submit a non-contingent cash offer. I never left my chair. My daughter lives there now, is very happy, and the house proved to be an excellent purchase. Alexis combines professional knowledge with a sense of what a buyer wants and needs personally, and she was able to advise me on many complexities. She also offered a market analysis at no cost since she thought it was necessary for her to give her best advice. I also noticed she built rapport with the selling agent so that all things ran smoothly. Reaching her was random, but she proved to be the best choice I could have made. I offer my highest recommendation.

Alexis was truly amazing. My husband and I were lucky enough to be matched with her after requesting to view a house. We came to Portland to see if it might be a place we wanted to move to. We were immediately taken with how knowledgeable, kind and personable she was. She did not sugar coat anything, she was honest about the pros and cons of the house and was really good at reading us and our reactions. Being brand new to Portland, she shared so much information about the different areas, the market and asked pertinent questions to gauge what kind of house and neighborhood we would be interested in. Within a day she had a tour planned of houses that were all right up our alley. That night, after taking the tour, she helped us put in an offer on a house! During this emotional process Alexis was always available to answer our texts and calls, she was supportive and understanding, and really helped us get the most out of the deal. She took the time to explain the process to us and how to negotiate if there were issues with the house upon inspection. It turns out there were many issues with the house we put an offer in on, and she helped us come to the decision to pull our offer. She was kind and patient, and we could tell she had our best interests in mind. At this point we were no longer in person in Portland. Alexis actually toured houses for us and took us on virtual tours. We ended up falling in love with a house and because of our trust in her, we put in an offer sight unseen. Now, I am writing this review sitting in the dining room of our new house and absolutely love it. Alexis is smart, kind, prompt, clear, and kind. We would hands down, work with her again. She made what is a grueling process as fun, easy and stress free as possible.

In short, we (my spouse and I) had an amazing experience working with Alexis to purchase our home. She was responsive, professional, knowledgeable, organized, and truly goes the extra mile for her clients. This is not our first home purchase and we have worked with a handful of realtors in the past and by far Alexis is the best weve ever been privileged enough to have on our side. She spent hours on the phone touring, negotiating, communicating our best interests, building a thorough strategy, and finding common ground with the seller and sellers agent. This was not always an easy process given how challenging the other party was. Alexis rose to the occasion and dug in with us to help us close on the home we really wanted and without Alexis Im convinced we wouldnt have been successful. I cannot recommend Alexis enough and if we ever need to work with a realtor in the future she will be my first phone call.
