It was extremely competitive, but Alex was able to get the deal done for us, even though there were 11 offers on the table. My wife and I gutted the home, renovated it, and successfully rented it for a couple of years. When our tenants recently moved out, we reached out to Alex for a market analysis to determine if we should continue renting it or if we should sell it. Alex estimated we could sell the house for a price that we believed to be unfathomable, but we trust Alex and listed it for the price he recommended. Within a week of listing, we had multiple offers and we had accepted a full-price offer. We had a great experience renovating and renting the property and we walked away with a nice profit from the deal. I am confident that Alex's expertise was the reason we were able to navigate the 11 offers and win when we purchased the property and I'm also confident that Alex's incredible marketing is the reason we were able to sell the same property for so much more money than we believed it was worth. I look at Real Estate listings the way some people read the sports pages, and Monticello has consistently impressed me with the use of technology in their presentation of homes. 1. In addition to standard online multiple listing services, they set up a custom website for their properties with the address of the home as the URL - in our case, 216Lancaster.com .2. They have a team that takes outstanding listing photos aEUR" literally showing your home in the best light.3. Beyond the photos, they develop a 3-D tour of the property, which can be viewed as a room-by-room walk through or a dollhouse view.4. Exterior views are facilitated by drone photography, which is a highlight of the house tour video they create. When I first met with Alex Monticello, the business owner, I honestly thought these four items would be extras, options we could elect to pay for in addition to the sellers commission. I was pleasantly surprised that these were included in his standard contract. Alex provided valuable advice on de-cluttering our home and preparing for the photographers, and can even recommend someone to do staging if you need help.He was flexible with the listing price, carefully weighing the comparable properties in the area and mindful of supply and demand. Once the listing was live, Alex was respectful of our time and privacy, which was especially important as I work from home. ZillowVERIFIED Alex was recommended to us by a friend he worked with previously. He was very responsive, had great knowledge of the area and the real estate process (we were first time buyers). He took us through the process, and helped get our bid accepted even though there were multiple similar offers on the table. I couldn't say enough great things about how easy he made the process. Alex was also very responsive to voice/text/email, making it easy to keep in contact however you most feel comfortable. He's about to put our other property on the market, can't imagine using anyone else.

He and his staff are consummate professionals -- invariably responsive, systematic in determining the best strategy for marketing our home, even-keeled, and just all-around super competent and easy to work with. We were kept fully updated at every step of the way -- great for someone as neurotic as I am -- and were delighted with the outcome. Also, Megan took amazing photos and videos! This is a brokerage that really understands what it takes to market real estate both online and in person. I really can't recommend Monticello highly enough!

ZillowVERIFIED As a first time home buyer I was beyond anxious about finding a teal estate agent who understood my wants and needs. I Elizabeth was the third agent I contacted in a single day, and instantly knew I was going to work with her. She was available to show me properties the first day we spoke, and every day I requested to look at homes thereafter. Moreover, as I was focusing on the look and feel of a home, she was digging in crawlspaces and basement looking for structural issues, electrical and heating equipment, pulling me down to earth when she saw a problem, or an opportunity. She even allowed me to contacted her personal number many evenings via text whenever I had any questions or concerns, and always provided answers. Well, we found a home for me, and although I am beyond excited, I am saddened at the thought of not meeting her to laugh and joke at many of the aEURoeinterestingaEUR? homes we saw. I highly, highly recommend this young lady to anyone who is looking for a wonderful, honest, dependable, and quite lovely real estate agent.
