Q: 1. What types of clients have you worked with?

I am proud that I have worked with everyone from first time buyers and renters, to seasoned investors and developers, those purchasing and selling ultimate luxury estates and those who are selling longtime family homes that have been owned by multiple generations. This experience has led to me working on waterfront, new construction, vintage and antique homes, modern, early-American, condominium and every other type of property one can imagine. Throughout this multi-dimensional work, I have treated every client with the same high level of respect, discretion, honesty, fairness, and have facilitated transactions that my clients can feel good about long after the closing.

Q: 2. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

With 23+ years of Real Estate experience and ranking as the #1 Realtor in Westport/Weston/Fairfield closed sales each year from 2013-2026 YTD per the MLS, I am confident that I bring significant value to my clients when they purchase or sell local real estate. I have been through every complicated situation and have sharpened my negotiation skills over the course of hundreds of successful sales... this experience is priceless to those who seek expert representation.

Husband contacted this brokerage to get appointment for showing one of their listings at 6 Winthrop Hills, Weston, CT, but after initial returned phone call, we were totally ignored despite expressed interest and ability to pay cash for asking price if we desired.

I am adding to the chorus of voices who sing praises for realtor Alex Chingas. Our situation: an empty nester couple looking to downsize by selling our Westport family home of 25 years. After researching other highly rated real estate agents we chose Alex based on his reputation, reviews, and personal recommendation from a previous client. Heres why you should hire Alex for both professional and personal reasons. Professional experience: as another client reviewer has stated, Alex lives, sleeps, breathes real estate. He is a seasoned member of the number 1 winning team of Bross Chingas Bross. He has broad and deep knowledge of the market from both macro and micro perspectives, understands its trends and shifts. Questions are answered with data and up to date statistics. Additionally Alex has a wide network of vendors (his home stager, window washers, and cleaners provided excellent aEURoewhite gloveaEUR? service). Most importantly when it comes time to negotiate Alex delivers because he is both intelligent and smart, is creative and sharp. Preparation: Upon our first meetingaEUR"before hiring himaEUR" Alex came with a bound book with detailed information about our house, our street, our neighborhood, the town. He knew about the other houses on our street that had been sold by his company, even the similarities and differences from our house. With our second meeting he had a full market analysis of comparable homes, listings of past sales and market performances. Alex could recite details about each comparable off the top off his head. His Personal touch: Alex gives each client 100% of his attention when you are with him. His phone is shut off during in-person meetings. He is attentive, ready to answer all questions, and can remember all you discuss without writing notes due to his computer-like memory. When I felt stressed his mild manner and optimistic outlook provided calm and reassurance. What I most appreciate about Alex is how he speaks. He provides options without directly instructing you what to do. Instead he keeps the dialogue open, giving you the power to make informed decisions. In the end we were very happy with our sale price. Alex and his team made the process very smooth and problem free. You can be assured Alex will provide the very best outcome in his power. He is a winner.

When the time came to sell our home in Westport this Spring we chose Doug Bross because he and his partnersat Bross Chingas Bross had a great track record all through Fairfield County. It was the best decision we could have made. Even though our home was by no means the most expensive he was listing we still felt like we were getting the royal treatment.Doug listened to all our concerns from the start. We never felt any pressure to agree on an asking price or to spend more than we were comfortable with on repairs or staging. He talked us through the process and explained what to expect and together we came up with a plan for selling the house. Through all the opens houses and showings Doug handled it all very professionally. He diligently kept us updated on the feedback and offers. When the best offer came he proved himself to a tough negotiator as well.. He had our back at all times and our interests came first with him. Doug is a straight shooter and a true gentleman. We were lucky to have him on our side.

Alexander, is a great partner. He is an excellent listener, provides sound advice, and most importantly will work tirelessly to help you make the right decision for your particular situation. He has helped us tremendously. When you are selling your home you want someone who understands how very personal the decision is and Alexander does. He goes above and beyond what a listing agent should do. I highly recommend him and if I had to sell another home or buy one I would not hesitate to call Alex. Thank you Alex!

Alex Chingas is absolutely the BEST. Alex represented me in both selling my old house and buying a new one during the height of the pandemic. While emotions traditionally run high when buying & selling your home, doing it during a pandemic made it even more stressful, Alex's calm demeanor, kindness and sense of humor kept the stress in check. Alex addressed & resolved any questions/issues himself. When finding my new home I felt like Alex was looking out for my best interest as a big brother or my father would do. Alex is so knowledgeable, well connected with other brokers and has great contacts. Alex is fun, easy to connect to and genuinely a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Alex Chingas.

We used Alex Chingas to sell our home in Westport, CT. We contacted Alex in October 2019. We asked his honest opinion of what we needed to do to sell our home. We had lived in the 5 bedroom 3.5 bathroom colonial for 24 years. Alex told us we were wise to contact him before we did any renovations. Alex laid out a plan for us and helped us with many critical decisions. He even met us at the warehouse to help us pick out the kitchen counter tops. Alex puts his heart and soul into his work and makes you feel like you are his only client. The pandemic put our renovations on hold, but we resumed work this past summer. Once the work was completed, Alex recommended an amazing woman who staged our home beautifully. We put the house on the market October 2020. We had 63 visitors and 7 offers in one weekend. Thank you Alex!

Contacting Alex Chingas about the sale of my home in Westport was an outstanding decision. I scheduled an appointment to meet with Alex, along with a few other agents. Something that struck me right away was the fact that when I mentioned my upcoming move to various friends that had recently been through the moving process, I kept hearing positive things about Alex. He arrived well-prepared for our meeting at my former home, and within moments it was easy to understand why others spoke highly of him. He took a genuine interest in familiarizing himself with the features of my property, and was very generous with his time, making sure all of my questions about the market were answered. He also made some suggestions on what we could do to have the house best prepared for the market. The market research that Alex provided gave a realistic view of the recent sales activity and made it easy to understand how to price the house. Unlike others we met with, he was 100% familiar with every home used in his analysis and how they compared to mine and impacted value, and also with the general conditions that influence real estate in the NY area. Once we went ahead and set a timeline to list the house, Alex really went to work and had a clear strategy, coordinating a professional photo shoot, a video, floor plans and setting times to show the house to other realtors and buyers. There was always complete feedback on how things were progressing, and when we had an offer it was handled very professionally, with him taking care of more details than I can list, all the way until the close of the sale. Alex never made me feel like a number. I felt very confident and reassured that a seasoned pro was advising me at every step along the way.

We met Alex after several years of searching for a home. Within a few weeks of meeting us and learning about our needs and preferences he showed us a house that we loved, bid on and purchased. Alex not only facilitated the buying process he was a partner to us who clearly cared about our happiness long after the bid was accepted. He made himself available to us throughout the closing, went the extra mile in answering our questions and showed expertise in the process. Alex is a true professional and extremely knowledgable about he market. We would strongly and happily recommend him.

We have worked with Alex through a number of homes (both selling and buying), and we would not work with another agent. He listens and gets to know you and then creates a strategy that works to meet your needs. He also has a rare intuition that makes him even more right on when he shows you homes. He is incredible.

We bought our Weston home through Doug. We came to Doug with a lot of challenges and he met every single one.We dropped in on Doug for a whirlwind weekend which he was very gracious about. He also showed us all around the area while we looked at a ton of houses and even introduced us to another realtor for a few houses outside of his area of expertise. The offer we made had a variety of challenges, but Doug pulled it through and made it look like no big deal. We were very impressed.Moving from the Midwest, my wife and I had a ton of questions and confusion around how different the real estate market is in the north east. Doug was very informative and patient throughout the process.Doug also introduced to a few other professionals that we were satisfied with.

Alex works, sleeps and eats real estate - he is without question, a master. He's easy to work with, listens carefully, and has an almost photographic memory of the details of hundreds of houses. His knowledge and communication skills give me a realistic view of the market. I want to emphasize however, that to me the most important talent a realtor needs is the ability to negotiate and Alex is superb negotiator. Even in this rough market, he and his team sold new construction of mine in Westport & Fairfield ($1 to $4m price range) in 2009 and 2010 when nothing else was selling. Alex is simply the best!

My wife and I used Alex to sell our home in Westport during July of 2010. He sold the home in less than one week and negotiated a great deal for us. He then helped us purchase our new home. His knowledge of the Westport real estate market is outstanding and he was very attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in Westport
