I had been thinking and thinking about who to reach out to and one day Alex popped up on my feed. I hadnt talked to Alex in probably about 10 years but when I saw him, I knew he was the one to reach out to. Alex has only good intentions, which is actually really important when searching for a realtor. Because at the end of the day, selling houses is how he makes money, but to him its not about the money. Its about making sure he got his clients exactly what they wanted & that they are happy. Alex was with us every step of the way. He never told us what we wanted to hearaEUR|only what we needed to hear. He advocated for us when we needed him to. He didnt care about pleasing contractors, sellers, lenders, etc. He only cared about us. He WILL go out of his way to help you. If youre looking to buy in Jacksonville or the surrounding area, Alex is your man. After all he is a local and he knows this very area well. ZillowVERIFIED What an extraordinary experience! We were first-time home buyers and going into the process of buying a home seemed pretty daunting, based on our online research before hand. When we first met with Alex, his sole focus was educating us on what to expect throughout the process and how it all works, with a breakdown of the timeline and when certain action steps and deadlines occur. I was sold when he broke out the market analysis for each area we were interested in, helping to narrow our search for areas that are likely within our budget. He spent time and effort to truly understand what we were looking for in a home, and once our needs and wants were clear, he put together an MLS search to filter options based on our criteria. All together we looked at four potential homes. At each visit, he demonstrated a complete and thorough knowledge of the listing, and made sure to point out unique things that could come up in other steps. For example, one listing we viewed was in a community that had zero-lot lines, where sometimes a neighbor's fence would be close enough to the structure to make exterior maintenance like replacing siding to be a bit of an undertaking. He worked with the HOA to figure out how that would look, should we decide to purchase that home, including how the fence is moved, who is responsible for those costs, and how the HOA would be involved throughout. The final listing we viewed hit the market on a Thursday evening. By Friday afternoon we had a walkthrough scheduled and by Monday we had an offer sent to the sellers. The agility with which he and his team work is unparalleled! In such a competitive market, I have no doubt that a gem like the one we found would have been scooped up in a heartbeat. Once the offer was accepted, he continued to work with us in getting documents signed by deadline, getting everything sorted with our lender, and even had resources for us to arrange inspections and insurance. All things considered, we couldn't have asked for more in an ally in the complex process of purchasing a home. The market is highly competitive, and it's crucial to have someone with knowledge, experience, and expertise in your corner. For us, that person was Alex, and he helped immeasurably in making our dream of homeownership a reality!

I dont think they get money out of you for showing rentals. But he was so polite and nice and willing to go to every location without question. After that year, I called to buy a house. He obviously took me to many locations again. Always willing to go out of his way to find the perfect place. Everything was smooth and fast with him. If he didnt know the answer. He would find it. After a few more conversations with him and him checking up on us, he offered to give us an orientation in which we agreed to. Something our first realtor didn't offer us. ZillowVERIFIED As the rating states, Alex does an OK job; we are just no likely to recommend him to others. Alex was not up front with us at our initial listing meeting about his "strategy" to sell our $700K home. He revealed this "strategy" in a long text message a day after our home went live via MLS, Zillow, etc. In his text message, he explained that his strategy is to reduce the price (the one he recommended) of the home "if we haven't had an offer in 10 showings". At the same time, he kept reiterating that at our sale price it typically takes longer to sell the home. These two ideas are not in concert with one another. And no seller of home wants to discuss a price reduction a day after going live. Alex very much does not want his paying clients to disagree with his approach or decide to apply a different strategy. Principal (seller) and agent relationships are predicated on the principal instructing the agent on course of action. Alex views this relationship differently. This may work for others, but it did not work for us. If we are paying a person $20K+ to do a job, then we should have input on how that job is performed. Period. We wish Alex the best in the future but will use a different agent in our next real estate transaction.
