Mann Academy in 2002. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of South Carolina - Columbia in 2006 with focuses in Real Estate and Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management. Alex began his real estate career with Prudential/C. Dan Joyner Co. in the Commercial Division in 2006. He spent time as a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent and in sales and operations in Corporate America before circling back to real estate. In 2012, Alex became the Broker-In-Charge of C. Dan Joyner Property Management Co., Inc. before joining BHHS/C. Dan Joyner Co. REALTORS with The Chet & Beth Smith Team as a Listing Specialist. Strengths & Motivations Finding a good mentor is key to building a career and when Alex decided to get into real estate, he didn't have to look very far for a trusted advisor. Or two. Or three. "Real Estate is in my blood," says Alex, whose Grandfather, C. Dan Joyner, founded an eponymous real estate company back in 1964. "My whole family is in the business. My father and mother have been in real estate in multiple capacities over the last 30 years. My uncle, aunt, both siblings and wife are all major parts of the company and I'm sure we'll have more join us in the future. Chet and Beth are the best of the best and will compound the support that I have around me. They all serve as an example to follow and a source of wisdom and knowledge." Alex believes the Golden Rule is the true key to success. His main goal is to carry on the legacy of what his family and Chet & Beth have worked so hard to achieve.
