ZillowVERIFIEDAlex was the agent representing the buyers on the home me and my wife sold. Our first interaction was when our agent was negotiating terms up front before they wrote an offer. We negotiated price, money back and they even inquired on shelving in closets. When they wrote an offer, it came in $40,000 under what we had talked about. We gave a substantial amount back for floors and anything else they felt necessary, and STILL had the audacity through their advisor Alex to request every single item to be repaired. This home was almost 10 years old and we were giving back 10k. But they were insistent on getting something, and they new we needed to leave so they began taking advantage. When an issue arose on our end, we couldn't even get them to willingly extend close by a mere week ( which was scheduled to be a rentback for us). In fact, Alex's exact words were "we're not waiving the rentback and were not extending escrow. If your clients aren't at the closing table, my clients are prepared for litigation." Up this this point they haven't been a great party to work with but we didn't feel it was at any level like that. In order to get any extra time they took our washer, dryer, refrigerator and my TV mount specifically for my 85" TV. At every turn Alex was rude to myself or my agent and unwilling to work with us to find a solution without a struggle. He also made mention of how because he wasn't getting 3% commission that we weren't his problem and he wasn't going to help us all get to the closing table. I was a former agent in NV and I have never encountered a more unprofessional, disrespectful agent in my 8 years. Alex is the reason the public thinks agents only care about money, when we really needed a fiduciary on the buyers side to help facilitate this together we ended up with an unprofessional money hungry rude agent with his paycheck being the only thing on his mind.
