Adam Parent Realty had been recommended to us by a coworker so we reached out to see if he would be a good match for our needs. From our initial phone call in December to closing on our first home in March Adam was nothing short of spectacular! Adam took the time to understand what we were leaning towards in home requirements and never once pushed us to buy or settle for something out of our comfort zone. When looking at homes in different areas he explained how taxes might affect the mortgage price and was always so respectful of our finances and what would be feasible for us. Being somewhat new to Southern Maine we needed a realtor who would steer us towards desirable neighborhoods and be able to answer even the silliest of questions. Adam did exactly this. With a competitive market Adam provided strong strategies to present the best bids despite cash offers not being in the cards for us. When we finally found the perfect home for us Adam jumped into action to help us submit the strongest bid. The initial tour of the house to our final closing date took just under 30 days. Since moving in we have been in love with our home, its proximity to our jobs, and the sweetest neighbors on all sides of us. Adam is a delight to work with, he is a go getter, and very determined to make sure his clients get what they want, and goes over and above to make sure the process goes smoothly. Adam knew what I was looking for in a house, he contacted me when a house I was looking for went on the market, and we went to look at it, as this was my first home I was purchasing, he guided me through the whole process. He hired the best home inspector (in my opinion) as the gentleman was very thorough, and walked me through the house and his findings. Adam was in constant contact with my mortgage broker to be sure they were on schedule. Adam picked me up and drove me to the closing and guided me yet again through the whole process. Adam had my back, and as scary and overwhelming as this was, he made me feel comfortable and I knew he always had my back and was watching out for me. We closed on the closing date that was scheduled with no issues. And thats not where it stopped, there were a few things that needed repaired on the house. After the closing he also gave me the names of references for me to call of people that could fix the issues that needed to be fixed. This is not something he needed to do, the house was sold and his job was done, but he continued to be in contact with me and make sure things were going okay. This is a man that goes above and beyond and you would be making a mistake if you didnt hire Adam.

Hes personable, patient, knowledgeable, and goes way past the call of duty in helping with things that need to be done when you sell or buy a house. As just a few of many examples, Adam fixed an inoperable smoke detector in the house and replaced batteries in a thermostat. He showed up before every showing to make sure the house had all the lights on and to light up the fireplace. He always made the house look perfect for every showing. Hes very receptive and always made sure we were covered if he happened to be out of the office. He promptly answered every question we had aEUR" but if he didnt know the answer, hed do some research and get back to us with the answer aEUR" and we always felt he had our back. We recently purchased and sold our homes, using Adam Parent as our realtor, and he was very supportive and helpful throughout the ordeal. He understands the market, hes an honest broker, and he did not hesitate to go above and beyond to assist his clients in all phases of the buying and selling process. For example, we were thinking about putting an offer down on a property that was listed as a 2 BR, but technically was only a 1 BR due to code compliance guidelines. Another realtor tried to convince us to move forward, but Adam had our back and suggested we should seriously reconsider or make a much lower offer despite the fact that he might lose out on a sale. In the end, we opted out of that house and bought another house that we absolutely love, and we ended up being very satisfied with our decision. I would not hesitate to recommend Adam to anyone who is in search for a top-notch realtor.

When our dream home went up for sale we thought we would give it one more try but did not get our hopes up as we knew this property would move fast and we were not even on the market yet.
