As an MBA with real estate development and construction experience, Adam provides his clients with insight and services well beyond those offered by the traditional Realtor. In addition to guiding buyers and sellers through their transactions, Adam can advise clients on overall marketplace trends, costs and complexities of renovations, and other economic factors associated with their decisions. As a Realtor, Adam enjoys working with a wide range of clients, from first time home buyers to experienced investors and everyone in between. Adam believes that buying or selling a property should be both economically rewarding and emotionally satisfying for his clients. After spending years traveling to work on successful real estate development projects around the state and across the US, Adam elected to begin focusing primarily on the Raleigh, Durham, & Chapel Hill markets in order to spend more time at home with his wife and growing family. Adam has a passion for real estate that began while working with his father's residential construction company. Along with his new construction experience, he also has a deep appreciation for historical homes and neighborhoods. A prime example of that passion was his complete renovation of his home in Durham's Trinity Park, a project that was a nominee for the Durham Appearance Commission's Golden Leaf Award. Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Trinity Park Neighborhood Association, is a frequent participant in events sponsored by The Congress for the New Urbanism, and is an advocate for the Southcraft Institute's EarthCraft standards for energy efficient design and construction. As a developer, he has managed the entitlement and construction a portfolio of mixed-use development projects consisting of over 5,000 houses, townhouses and apartments plus 600,000 sq ft of retail, restaurant, and office space.
