We found an apartment through an ad published by this company, went through the $40 application process and were approved. The ad and the agent stated that heat and hot water were furnished as is often standard in the area The contract, when we received it, however, stated that not only did we pay our own heat and hot water, we also paid the water bill to be split 3 ways among all tenants, without regard to amount of water used. I also specifically asked about the heat when we viewed it and she said it was hot water heat but it turned out to be electric. When we contacted the agent after receiving the contract that had , in several places, wildly conflicting information on several points besides the heat issue, she replied by email that it was a aEURoemiscommunicationaEUR?. Several hours after that she finally called and this time called it a aEURoemistake in writing the adaEUR? and asked if we still wanted it. Her mistake essentially meant that our monthly payment could be as much as $300 a month more. Also , we did not feel the agent was competent to represent our interests in the contractual process so we declined. Now we are pressed to find a different apartment within a very short time and we are out our application fee of $40. I will not state the agents name but I believe she was working with little or no supervision and her delayed responses to our email and texts, as well as her limited and incorrect knowledge of the property she was supposedly representing, made us believe that she was quite inexperienced. Her performance reflects poorly on the entire company.

Chose not to follow through after a few phone and Email correspondences. Notably, this was after sharing my down payment range on a certain purchase type. Sorry it wasnt worth her time or effort. A team or agent who doesnt put a potential clients interest on the front burner is not worth pursuing. You have an abundance of options in Brooklyn of who to work with. Choose wisely.

Abigail Palanca is the most professional real estate agent that I have ever met. I have worked with other agents, but none has been more productive, hard working and have given me the results that I received from her efforts.
