Abby Zezza

Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Get clear on your goals and your budget early — and don’t be afraid to ask questions! I always tell buyers that communication is everything. In this market, preparation wins: get pre-approved, know your priorities, and work with an agent who can move quickly and strategically. My job is to take the stress out of the process and make sure you never feel rushed or uncertain.

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Presentation and pricing are everything. Even in a strong market, the best results come from homes that are well-prepared, staged, and strategically priced. I provide honest feedback, market data, and a proven marketing plan that makes your home stand out online and in person. My goal is to help you earn top dollar with minimal hassle — and to make the experience smooth from start to closing.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

I’ve had the privilege of working with more than 500 clients across Western Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota — including first-time buyers, relocators, veterans, investors, and families buying or selling rural homes, hobby farms, and land. I love helping people through all stages of life — from their first home to their forever home.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

Recently, I helped a young family relocate to Hudson from out of state. We toured homes virtually, navigated inspections remotely, and coordinated the entire process while they were still living several hours away. Seeing their kids run into their new backyard on move-in day was a full-circle moment — the kind of experience that reminds me why I love what I do.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

Before real estate, I spent years in the restaurant industry, where I learned how to deliver exceptional service and connect with people. That passion for hospitality naturally translated into real estate. I began my career under the mentorship of Lonnie Larson, later purchasing his business in 2021 and forming Team Zezza. I now lead a full-service team with Real Broker, proudly serving the St. Croix Valley and surrounding communities.

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

Beyond eight years of real estate experience and extensive market knowledge, I’ve completed advanced negotiation and marketing training, and continuously study pricing strategy and buyer psychology. My background in hospitality taught me how to listen, anticipate needs, and deliver an elevated client experience that makes every transaction feel effortless.

Abby helped my husband & I buy our first home and we highly recommend her!! She was incredibly helpful throughout the process explaining things along the way and answering any question we had. She was also super responsive, checking in along the way from the very beginning all the way through closing. Abby helped point things out in homes we saw that we might not have otherwise noticed but did so in a productive and supportive way, offering options and alternatives. She even helped me visualize what different spaces might look like when furnished. When we did have an accepted offer, Abby recommended an amazing inspector that was able to come out shortly after since we had a short timeframe to get the inspection in. Her connections were so helpful and we are so grateful to Abby, Lonnie, and their whole team! Whether you're a first time home buyer like us or have moved many times, I think you'll be thrilled with Abby! 10/10 Highly Recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Abby, she was so great to work with! We met with her about 6 months before we planned on actually looking for a home just so we could tell her about what we envisioned and our financial plan/budget for a new home. Well, turns out our plan didn't quite go the way we had envisioned and we found a home relatively quickly (the second one we looked at) and Abby was there to help guide us every step of the way. She helped us get the best deal possible and she was encouraging and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. There was a lot of back and forth between the sellers and us, and Abby made sure that we were informed about what was happening and was always on our side! We are so happy that we chose to work with her, we definitely will again in the future. Thanks Abby!

Our experience with Abby in helping us find a purchase a new home was fantastic. She was very responsive to our questions and concerns. She helped coach and educate us on the technical aspects of the process. During negotiations she brought forward a strategy and was very open to collaboration. She and us were a very good partner in the deal. After the sale she stayed in contact all the way through the closing date. Abby has a friendly personality, a positive attitude, and brings good energy to her interactions. We highly recommend Abby to anyone looking for a Real Estate Agent to help them find and purchase a home.

My husband and I were first time home buyers and knew absolutely nothing about how to buy a house. We were introduced to Abby, who is organized and extremely personable, and she had us viewing homes within our budget within a few days. She was always able to work around mine and my husbands work schedules and would even respond to texts late at night. When we found our house Abby had the paperwork and offer ready that same day, which eased our worries of buyer competition. Although we were clueless before starting this process, Abby explained everything so we could understand and make wise decisions. We would absolutely work with Abby again.

Abby was great from the very first interaction. She was always available and eager to answer any and all questions and concerns I had. When something was out of her wheelhouse she took it upon herself to get the right information from the right people. Additionally, she never pressured me during the process, which was nice as I was taking my time over the course of almost a year.

Being first-time home buyers, Abby was always very thorough and quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the experience. She was kind enough to work with us during the evenings and even on a holiday! We were purchasing a to-be-built home, so the process was a tad more complicated. But she made sure everything went smoothly and checked in frequently during the building process. Lonnie also personally contacted us to make sure everything was going as we'd expected, which was very thoughtful! All in all, our experience was great. The process went smoothly, we now own a home we love, and we'll be highly recommending Abby and the Lonnie Larson team to all of our friends and family looking for a home!

Abby was spectacular from start to finish. Having bought and sold real estate several times before this, I can confidently say that Abby and her team were a breeze to work with. They were friendly, professional, and so helpful at all points in this process. Abby was able to help us find exactly what we were looking for within our somewhat challenging budget and time requirements. She also was an invaluable resource as we were moving in from out of state, helping us to find out information about the local schools, community, utilities, etc. and get us the connections we needed for inspections and the likes. We are so happy with our new home and recommend Abby whole-heartedly and without reservation to anyone who is looking for a great agent!

Abby is truly one of a kind! She is trusted, thoughtful, efficient and a skilled listener and thinker. She has lived in the area her whole life so she is extremely knowledgeable and always put you, the customer first. We worked with Abby when we purchased our first home. Being brand new to the world of real-estate, we were clueless. Abby was patient and walked us through the entire process pain free. We found our first dream home because Abby was so willing to act quickly and get in there before anyone could jump on it before us. We are forever grateful to Abby and the Lonnie Larson Team! We will also recommend her to everyone we know moving forward that is looking in the MN/WI area
