Question 1

1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Accepted Answer

Start by understanding your budget and getting fully pre-approved, then work with an agent who knows the local market. In Lancaster County, conditions can vary significantly from one neighborhood or community to another. I help my buyers understand value, competition and potential resale so they can make a confident decision without feeling pressured.

Question 2

2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Accepted Answer

Preparation and pricing are critical. I work with sellers to determine which improvements are worth making, how to position the home, and where it should be priced based on current Lancaster County market conditions. The goal is not simply to list a home, but to create the strongest possible presentation and negotiate the best overall result.

Question 3

3. What types of clients have you worked with?

Accepted Answer

I work with buyers and sellers throughout Lancaster County, including Lancaster, Manheim Township, Lititz, Lampeter Strasburg, Landisville and surrounding communities. My clients range from those moving locally or relocating to the area to move-up buyers and sellers, luxury clients, and buyers interested in new construction or distinctive properties.

Question 4

4. How did you get started in Real Estate?

Accepted Answer

Real estate has always been part of my life. My dad, Gordon Hoover, was a real estate agent for many years, so I grew up around the business and saw firsthand the importance of relationships, local knowledge, and taking care of clients. That early exposure ultimately led me to build my own career in real estate, and 20 years later, I still enjoy helping people navigate such an important decision.

Question 5

5. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

Accepted Answer

I am a REALTOR®, hold the NAR e-PRO® designation, and am a Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialist. My 20 years of experience in Lancaster County also gives my clients extensive local market knowledge and experience across a wide range of residential properties.
