As a native Houstonian,I have determination and professionalism that sets me apart from others in the industry. Advice I would give a buyer looking to purchase a home would be to always remember that no home is perfect. Always keep in mind the pros and cons of each home and how it makes you feel. I also advise getting a pre-approval from a mortgage lender first in order to understand your budget.
Make sure to find a realtor that understands your needs and will always go the extra mile to not only find you a house, but your HOME!
Advice I would give to a seller would be to find the right real estate agent that knows the market well and would recommend to price the home accordingly to comparables in the area to get the most money for the seller. I would advise a seller to look for an agent that has all the tools needed to effectively market the property and is affiliated with a reputable brokerage. I would also recommend to find a realtor that will provide staging for the home. It is a fact that homes that are staged sell faster and for more money.
I have worked with many buyers and sellers as well as with investors. My clients have been first time home buyers, empty nesters looking to downsize, couples with growing families, elderly moving into retirement communities, people moving in and out of state for jobs, and many others. I have also worked with clients from many different cultural backgrounds and ethnicities.
A recent transaction that I am fond of took place a few months ago. My seller had a tough time selling the property with other agents. He found me and told me " I know you can do it". Needless to say the pressure was on but I knew that I could get it done. I called my stager and staged the home. It looked absolutely breathtaking. I also recommended minor landscaping and to get the house pressure washed.
I brought a professional real estate photographer , as I do for all my listings and had gorgeous pamphlets made for the home.
Before I had listed the house it has been on the market for 200 days and been listed several times with different agents.
I got the house under contract within 2 weeks and we closed a few weeks later!
Before real estate I worked as a Healthcare Administrator for 15 years. After the company I worked for sold I decided to take some time off to raise my daughter. A close friend of mine was a top producing agent in real estate and she recommended I help her as an assistant and get my license. After thinking about it, I decided to go ahead and do it. She mentored me and I learned so much from her.
