I'm married to my beautiful wife, Katharine Reel. Katharine and I grew up in Kernersville, NC and we met in 1st grade. We have 2 children, Ellie and Grady, and they sure do keep us on our feet. My wife and I bought our first home January of 2014 and I fell in love with real estate. The searching became a hobby. The negotiations and the due diligence period intrigued me. Mix that with my obsession of House Hunters and I knew real estate was going to be "my thing." My career launched in October of 2014 and it has become a passion of mine. I love everything about it. People oftentimes ask how work is and I respond, "What's work?!" When you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. I stopped working October of 2014. My first year, I sold $2.3 million - then $4.2 million - and next thing I knew I was at $7.2 million for 2018. With business taking off, I knew I had to launch Reel Realty.
