We lived in Omaha for over 10 years when we decided to sell our house and move out of state to get closer to family. My wife and I moved 3-4 times around the country prior to this move but those were all with the support of the company I was working at the time and their relocation services. This move was a personal decision so all the costs were on us so we interviewed 3-4 different realtors either from just who's signs we saw the most along with we tried UpNest to get some additional ideas. We found Troy through UpNest. We selected Troy because he seemed very process oriented, pragmatic, experienced and knowledgeable about our location. We were pleasantly surprised when our buyer walked up to our house even before the house was officially on the market and literally hours after signing with Troy. They saw the Uhaul moving trucks in the driveway over several months. Yes, it took several trips to get all of our stuff moved and we decided to move our stuff and sell the house empty when the time came. Even though Troy and his team wasn't required to do any marketing since our Uhaul trucks did that for us with the interested neighbor a few blocks away....Troy and his team handled the rest of the transaction very smoothly including negotiating price and terms. Troy was very responsive and flexible but it was obvious it has a trusted process that works. The house closed smoothly and on time even while we were living out of state during the middle of the COVID-19 virus pandemic/stay at home orders. We feel blessed to have found Troy and being able to sell our house during some very anxious times. Troy, his team and process worked for us and we recommend to others in the Omaha area looking to sell their home.
