SHORT VERSION: Don't use anyone but Dawn to help you buy or sell a house, period.EXTENDED VERSION:"Five Stars" are nice, but they don't tell how good a real estate agent REALLY is - the proof of that is in RESULTS - and ours were the BEST.Dawn was professional and friendly - many agents aren't! Dawn helped us price our house much higher than other agents had suggested - more per square foot than any of the properties in our development and more than $10,000 higher than experienced "experts" on home prices in our area. Dawn did extensive homework on the "comps" (the REAL comps) and, just as importantly, took into account all of the upgrades and maintenance we had done to our house over the years. We took Dawn's advice on pricing - and it PAID OFF BIG. Dawn also expertly staged our house for maximum impact on potential buyers - which we could not have figured out how to do. Her experience loomed large in this area.Results? Full price offer on the first day on the market - within two hours after the first buyer saw the house. Closing was quick and smooth. No waiting for months for an offer that you had to negotiate after scores of "buyers" trampled through your house. Dawn also recommended a mover who turned out to be the best mover I've used in over 50 years of moving around the country MANY times. It couldn't have gone better!Two other key points:Dawn is part of the RE/MAX organization - a highly professional, experienced and successful organization - perhaps the best there is, in my opinion. That affiliation helped make it possible for Dawn to deliver top quality results. Last, but not least, Dawn has superior personnel on her staff who made everything move to the closing AHEAD OF SCHEDULE, smoothly and efficiently. Her assistant, Jill Rowland, is a true gem. Her attention to the many details and requirements needed to make the sale and closing go smoothly is remarkable. After witnessing her efforts and the way she and Dawn worked as a team, I appreciate so much more now the amount of hard (and smart) work involved in the purchase and sale of real estate.
