#1 RE/MAX Agent in CA 1994-Present: After graduating from UCLA, I spent seven years in the corporate sales environment as a top salesperson and sales manager. I began my real estate career in April of 1991 and have been one of the top agents in Santa Clarita since 1992. Since 1999 I have been the top producing agent in Santa Clarita. However, all the accolades, awards and accomplishments wouldn't mean much without creating happy clients along the way. Year-to-date, more than 60% of my business can be attributed to positive word-of-mouth referrals from past clients.
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Interview agents to buy the way people do when they sell. Specifically, do they know the neighborhood specifics? Do they know about homes before they hit the market? Do they have great relationships with the other agents in town? How many homes have they sold and what are there reviews like?
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Make sure the agent knows more about your home and the competing listings than you do. Make sure they know all of the pros and cons of your property versus the competition. How many homes in your area have they sold? How do they handle appraisal contingencies? What is their checklist for vetting out an offer?
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
Every type of buyer and seller in the residential marketplace. From first time buyers to executors handling the family property. From 4 million dollar customs to $250,000 condos.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Helping sellers that were involved in a bitter divorce be so pleased with the prep, marketing, execution of an offer through the closing that they were actually happy to talk to each other by the end. Check the reviews.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I had 7 years training in a corporate sales environment before deciding I wanted to be in charge of the client experience and the service they received. That was 26 years ago.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have a personal coach that I meet with weekly. I have every sales award offered in the RE/MAX system and the training that goes with it. Broker license, CRS, etc.

I honestly cannot say enough about Neal Weichel and the Neal Weichel group to express the outstanding job he and his team did for us. My mother and I had our houses on the market for four and a half months with a different agent, and things had gone very poorly. We then switched agents, hiring Neal. We were out of time and had to get our homes sold, so we needed to go with the number one agent in Santa Clarita. And that he certainly proved to be! For starters, he sold my mother's house just a few days later! No joke. And mine was not long after that. He has a networking group with the top agents in Santa Clarita, so he was able to provide immense exposure of our homes quickly. He was able to walk through both homes and accurately point things that could help increase the value and expedite the sale. He is very knowledgeable about market values and how to price a home for a quick and top dollar sell. He is very responsive as is his team. There was honestly not one time I could not reach him or his team members when I tried, even on a Sunday. I think where he stands out the most is that he is a master negotiator. This is critical when selling a house. He was able to watch out for us and protect us every step of the way. He is clearly very intelligent. His UCLA degree is evidence of that. And the team he has hired to assist in the process is stellar. He is passionate, assertive, committed, collaborative, positive, skilled, reliable, and infectious. Yes, the complete package. Jenn did an amazing job getting our home sold. She guided us on selecting targeted upgrades to the house before selling (fewer than we were expecting) and setting a listing price that would bring in top offers. She recommended trusted contractors to complete necessary work and worked directly with them to grant them access when we couldn't be there and communicate the scope of work we had agreed upon. Jenn Wilder is an exceptional woman who provides an exceptional service. Without Jen Wilder working with us to attain our dream home, I dont think we would have had the outcome that we did. She is an experienced, professional and knowledgeable real estate agent that was there for us at every step of the way (even though I know we were not her only clients).
