Allyson was cheerful and very helpful. We saw 24 houses in 2 days on my first house hunting trip from out of state, which is what I needed. She knows all the roads and is well connected with the community. She found a house with everything I wanted and I was picky. She made relocation a smoother transition by meeting with inspectors at the house for me while I was still out of state. She recommended various vendors when I asked for suggestions and they have all proven to be reliable. She even brought a snow shovel my first weekend in the new house because a big storm was coming and I didn't have my stuff yet. Allyson will go above and beyond for her clients and is very quick to respond to any communications. Not only did she show me houses, but she truly introduced me to the area showing me key locations and taking me to some of my now favorite local shops. On my marathon house hunting weekend she brought snacks which was a lifesaver on such a concentrated time. She has the customer in mind.

Allyson Cotton helped my wife and I find and buy our beautiful new home in Old Saybrook, CT in June, 2016. I would recommend Allyson to anyone looking for a realtor willing to put in the time and effort to find the perfect home for you. Before we found Allyson, we had tried working with a few other realtors and ran into some issues aEUR" realtors showing up late, being unprepared, or pressuring us to buy houses we didnt love just to close a deal quickly. Those were never issues with Allyson. Shes diligent, thorough, personable, and extremely knowledgeable in the southeastern Connecticut housing market. We looked at dozens of houses in Essex, Old Saybrook, and Old Lyme over several months, trying to find just the right home. Allyson always showed up exactly on time to our appointments, prepared with knowledge of the property and printouts of the house specs for us to take home. She was great at following up about homes we expressed interest in, but never pushy. Allyson also gave us valuable feedback in advance of visiting a house. She quickly learned our taste in a future home, and she helped weed out the bad fits so we wouldn't have to waste our time. When we finally found the right home for us, Allyson helped us navigate the home buying process, and recommended both an excellent inspector and an excellent attorney. Even after we closed on the house, Allyson stopped by to congratulate us with flowers and a Lowes giftcard to help kickstart our home improvement projects. From top to bottom, Allyson was professional, friendly, and the absolute perfect realtor for us. Id recommend her to friends and family in a heartbeat.
