Michelle was an absolute pleasure to work with starting from the very first conversation with her over the phone. We feel lucky to have been connected with her through Zillow, with us being from out of town we had no guidance on selecting a real estate agent to help us in our purchase. On the very first phone call, she asked the right questions to help us start to put together homes that would fit our needs and also some dreams. A few weeks later we got the chance to come back down to Asheville and meet Michelle for the first time. Michelle had helped us put together a list of homes over the previous 2 weeks so that when we did arrive in town we could see all of them within our time frame. Using her many years of experience she set the showings up in an order that allowed us to really compare the houses as we went through them to the previous ones. We had ambitions of living in many different parts of Asheville but as we drove around and learned about each area's property taxes, traffic, proximity to shopping, walking ability and much more from Michelle we narrowed our neighborhood down. We decided to put an offer in on our first home with Michelle and she shined as each step progressed, as things came up through the process we went through them together and felt comfortable moving forward. With us not living in the state she was able to be our eyes and ears on the ground through ought, being able to meet with the inspector and contractor for us. Prior to us closing she came and did a final walkthrough for us ensuring everything was up to par. The previous homeowner left the place still pretty dirty and this was not acceptable for her, she took it upon herself to bring a cleaning crew in before we moved in. Once we did close on the home we got the first call from her with a big genuine congratulations! Michelle has built up a great reputation in the area and has so many contacts to help with every step of the process. With us driving down late in the evening Asheville received some snow and Michelle wanted us to check in with her once we arrived safely, which was not until close to 11 PM. Even after closing, she visited us to check-in and make sure we did not need anything, I actually needed a ladder to do some work and she volunteered hers! Michelle made us feel like she was family with sharing stuff about her own and us doing the same, she turned a transaction into an experience. I feel very comfortable in recommending Michelle to help with your next home purchase.
