My experience with Al Cianfarini, broker at RE/MAX, was frustrating and unhelpful. After three months of no progress selling our home with agent Marta PilipaEUR"despite multiple price reductions, listing errors, and poor communicationaEUR"we reached out to Al to explain the situation and request a partial waiver on the $2,000 early termination fee. We provided clear evidence of Marta's shortcomings, including zero showings, no market analysis, and comparable homes selling well in the area. Al dismissed all our concerns outright, calling Marta his 'best agent' and refusing any compromise, even though the lack of results should have been obvious. His response felt defensive and lacked any accountability or willingness to address client issues. This left us feeling unsupported by the brokerage leadership. If you're dealing with RE/MAX, don't expect the broker to step in fairly when things go wrongaEUR"Al's handling of our complaint was a major letdown.
