I can't thank my RE/MAX Realtor, Kelly Kresin, enough ! I moved back to Salina, Kansas two years ago, and into a rental house that I just fell in love with. It was a house that I may have had the opportunity to purchase. I contacted Kelly when I was ready to stop throwing my money away on rent payments, and invest in a home of my own. Kelly came over and spent all the time necessary to listen to what I wanted in a home. She also walked through my current rental, which I was seriously considering trying to purchase. During our visit I told Kelly about some health issues I was dealing with, and that I, obviously, wasn't getting any younger. She knew the rental would not accommodate my needs for long. But I couldn't see it through the eyes of my emotional attachment. But, Kelly could. She gently steered me toward the idea of considering looking at other homes that would serve my needs in the years to come. I loved that she really took the time to listen to me. She understood my attachment to the rental as well. It was the first time I had lived alone and moving was a difficult time in my life. Listening to Kelly, and her ideas on my options, made me feel comfortable about checking out some other properties. She pointed out some things about my rental that she wanted me to really think about. Although I loved the house, it had two stories, a basement laundry, and no garage. Kelly thought I would be more comfortable in a ranch style home, main floor laundry, and an attached garage. We talked about the house I was living in and some of the concerns she had. It was already difficult, at times, for me to use the stairs. Especially the basement, while carrying laundry up and down. The possibility of an accidental fall was a definite concern. Especially when I was living alone. Kelly also thought that an attached garage was a necessity. To be able to drive in, close it behind me, and bring groceries, etc. inside without the chance of slipping during bad weather. Not to mention no scraping car windows ! She was right ! And importantly to me, she has a way of putting out her ideas without making you ever feel "pushed". I appreciated that. Kelly Kresin is attentive and truly cares about her clients. She is definitely in the right profession !And the best thing was that she found the perfect home for me, in the price range I needed ! I LOVE my new home and can see myself living here for the rest of my life !Kelly also covers all surrounding areas outside of Salina. So, if you are looking to buy or sell your home, do yourself a huge favor and call Kelly Kresin at RE/MAX in Salina. You won't be disappointed !
