Mary Jane Benevente (MJ as I came to know her over our numerous texts and emails) was an ideal realtor for me when I was in the process of identifying and ultimately purchasing a winter home for mysef in Tampa, FL. The challenge for her was the fact that I was an out-of-town client who had to rely on her to organize and lead the inspections of various properties during the extremely limited time I could devote to looking at properties in person. I live in Chicago while she works in the Tampa area. The time during the single long weekend that I could devote to house-hunting in Tampa therefore had to be utilized extremely efficiently. MJ was a great agent in this regard as she arranged for visits and drove me to ten different units in South Tampa. Just prior to my visit, she even helped me remotely communicate with one owner who (unfortunately for me) decided to rent rather than sell his condo. Over time my trust in MJ became so great that I decided to buy a unit that I had become very interested in based on my extensive on-line research but which, as it turned out, I didnt have the chance to visit in person! (The unit was off the market during the Tampa trip but had come back right AFTER I returned to Chicago). Per my request, MJ made a video of both the units interior and exterior that was more than adequate for me to make the decision to purchase.
