Lisa sold our 25-year old, 4-bedroom home fast and for more money than I think we could have using someone else. Not only that- she was so practical about what we should do to prepare the house that we saved a lot of time and money by avoiding costly upgrades that others told us would be needed to sell the home.We first heard about Lisa after she sold our friends house for top-dollar. We are so glad we called her in. She does everything: market analysis for pricing and timing, complete home staging (which made the home beautiful and attractive to a wide audience), consultation on how to prepare the house for sale, negotiation (skip the cabinet upgrade), electronic paperwork (wow- it makes it very easy) etc. A lot of realtors will encourage expensive upgrades that may make their job easier, but we really wanted to avoid these if possible. Lisa's approach was different - We really appreciated how she first sat with us and based on her relevant experience, advised us on how to prepare our home. This saved us a lot of time and money. Lisa's team does a LOT of work: they staged the home to make it appeal to a broad audience, used professional photography and glossy marketing brochures that made our home look beautiful, customer feedback survey's from potential buyers, etc. Once we listed, we had a ton of interested buyers and within a few days got a contract in place. Lisa is at the top of the realtor game for a reason - she's the best! I recommend Lisa Smith- she's an expert, super easy to work with, and she sold our house faster and for more money, and with less effort from us!

If youre looking for the BEST REALTOR (for buying or selling) in Northern Virginia, then look no further than Lisa! We have worked with a number of other realtors in the past, and none of them come close to her on any level. Before we found Lisa, we had been looking for a home in Northern Virginia for months with no luck, and we were at the end of our rope. Then, a friend referred us to Lisa (and were so thankful for that referral!). As soon as we had our first call with Lisa, we knew she was the right realtor for us. We could instantly see not only how experienced and knowledgeable she is, but also how dedicated she is to her clients. She listened to our whole house-hunting journey up to that point, and took the time to find out exactly what we were looking for. We were super picky and had narrowed our search down to about six streets(!) Yet Lisa was so patient and never pressured us to look in other areas, or to buy a place that we didnt feel quite right about. She was happy to wait and it was clear that she really cared about our happiness aEUR" about finding the place that was right for us and our two little ones. While we were looking, she also found us a rental in the same area where we wanted to buy, and successfully negotiated a short-term lease with the landlord (not an easy task!). Throughout our search, we felt like we were Lisas only clients. She was always super responsive and on time, and was there right by our side at every house showing. Shes a consummate professional, super smart and efficient, and unbelievably hard-working aEUR" and also thoughtful, positive, energetic, and so much fun to be around. Additionally, she is incredibly talented at re-imagining spaces (e.g., how they can be laid out differently, updated, or remodeled) aEUR" and she has shared her ideas with us (often showing us pictures as examples!) many times, which is fantastic because it has helped us think outside the box and opened our eyes to lots of different, creative possibilities. When the right house hit the market unexpectedly one day, Lisa was there with us at a moments notice for the walk-through. She worked quickly and tirelessly to ensure we submitted a strong bid at exactly the right time on the same day. We absolutely believe this house is where we were meant to be and its because we were with Lisa that we won it! Lisa has truly been a godsend throughout this whole process. Her recommended home inspector and mortgage lender were top-notch, and even months after we moved in, she continues to look out for us, never hesitating to share the contact information for every home improvement/maintenance service you can imagine (from comprehensive general contractor services, to specialized services, such as roofing, carpeting, and closet redesign). We feel so blessed to know her.Bottom line: Lisa is the GOLD STANDARD among realtors and an all-around AMAZING person. We truly cant recommend her highly enough, and cant thank her enough for all that shes done for us. Far and away, she is the best realtor weve ever worked with!
