After being recruited by a local school district, Amber Russell came to the Monterey Peninsula with her teenage daughter dreams of building a new life. Now, many years
later, she's married with three stepsons, two dogs, a forever home in Pacific Grove, a growing list of awards certifications, appearances on television her own very successful real estate brokerage, located in downtown Pacific Grove and serving all of the Monterey Bay Area.

After several years at Sotheby's as one of the top Realtors in the area, Amber started her own brokerage, Over the Moon Realty, Inc. "Over a short period of time, I had

Over the Moon's very first client, Rick Barnett, founder of the Master's of Light Gallery, selected Ambers new brokerage to sell his historical building, the Harry A. Greene Mansion on Lighthouse Ave. in Monterey. He says, " Amber Russell is my real estate

Amber believes that her experience & expertise in education, more than 30 years' worth, gives her and her clients a distinct advantage. Born in San Diego (her dad was a U.S. Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton), Amber grew up in nearby Carlsbad, earned a bachelor's degree at Cal State Long Beach two master's degrees, in education counseling, from Pepperdine University. She has spent time teaching journalism English, counseling at the high school community college levels, is a certified conflict mediator. Amber met her husband, Robert, a U.S. Navy officer stationed at the Naval Postgraduate School at the time, at a winemakersAfAcAcaEURsA!AcaEURzAc celebration at Custom House Plaza they were married in 2011. Robert is now a local educator and works behind the scenes at Over the Moon Realty, making sure everything looks great and runs smoothly. They have four children, two grandchildren and counting, and two dogs, one of whom serves

in a local TV commercial and front-page story in The Herald).
