Matt saved me what could have easily been a $100k bidding war on the perfect house in Evergreen. I first looked at properties in Evergreen with Matt in the summer of 2015. I wasnt in a position to purchase a home until summer of 2020. By then, the property market up here was red hot and I had considerable doubts about whether I would even be able to find a good home within my budget. I was looking for a 3 bed/3 bath house with good mountain views on a south facing slope in North Evergreen that was under $750k. Finally in mid-September 2021, my dream home hit the market for $715K. Matt immediately scheduled a showing and I made an offer a few hours after seeing the house. Matt advised me I should make an offer for the list price but also put in a stipulation that the offer was only good until 8 PM that evening. The seller immediately accepted my offer. Attaching this aEURoetake it or leave itaEUR? stipulation to the offer thwarted any chance for a bidding war to get started. A week later a comparable, but slightly more modern, home on the same street/neighborhood went on the market for $760k. It ended up selling for $865K after a protracted bidding war! Matts expertise and advice no doubt saved me lots of $$ and gave me instant equity. I wouldnt feel comfortable buying or selling any property in the future without Matt at my side.
