I thought I was having a pretty decent experience working with Irene, selling my father's house, almost to the end of the deal, which is where things took an unfortunate turn. I'd informed Irene from the beginning of our agreement that the remaining furniture in the house was to be sold and the profits given to me. The deal coming to an end, Irene informs me the bank wouldn't approve the buyers loan because the deck was rotten and needed to be replaced. I paid out of pocket for the deck to be removed and replaced by stairs. Once this was done, she informed me the buyer was unhappy with the removal of the stairs and hadn't been privy to the agreement to have the deck removed prior. Irene then proceeds to explain to me that in order to make up for the deck being removed, she and the bank now decided to contribute $500 each and wanted my contribution to be the furniture for free. I informed her that I wasn't in agreement with this. At this point Irene took it upon herself to close the deal including my furniture for free. This experience has left me feeling cheated and victimized by someone I thought would hold up their end of a business deal.

Good to work with, excellent knowledge of area, on time, very funny, but serious about real estate. She worked with us for over 3 years to find our retirement home. When we found one, she met us there the next day, wrote a contract offer which was accepted.
