Last summer, my husband and I decided to look for a second home in the city of Madison -- we are from Illinois, but enjoy boating on Lake Mendota. We were originally looking for a condo in or near downtown. We connected with Jolenta, and she obliged by showing us several properties. She was very honest with us, sharing her opinion of value the actual value of the property versus the asking price -- literally zero pressure to purchase. The last property we visited was an old home in a neighborhood adjacent to the lake that had great potential, but definitely would require some significant work. Because Jolenta has a wealth of experience renovating older homes, she had some great ideas, as well as some cautions. Jolenta showed us the house more than and once, and helped us think through some problem areas. She contacted the listing realtor several times to quickly get answers to our questions, and we ended up closing within 6 weeks after our offer was accepted. Not only did we end up owning a quaint little home, but we gained a friend in Jolenta, as well!
