I am a graduate of Providence High School and have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Indiana University Southeast. I started my real estate business right after college in 1998 and am still growing my business today. I am licensed in both IN and KY and can help clients on both sides of the river. I'll be honest - I'm a lot of work. I am super needy and when working with someone (like Chris Goodman aka Mr. Rookie Realtor of the Year ) I like to be the number one priority. I know that is an unrealistic expectation and that my husband and I weren't Chris's only clients, but he really did make us feel that way. I was constantly coming up with new things that I felt like I absolutely HAD TO HAVE in our new home (thank you Pinterest and HGTV) and I wanted to discuss all these ideas with Chris so he could make it happen. Chris was always incredibly patient with me and never made me feel like I was being a pain in the you know what. He always listened to my husband's and my concerns, provided helpful feedback, and made us feel at ease with every step of the home buying process. Don't be fooled by his boyish looks - he will amaze you at the amount of knowledge he has on seemingly everything and his ability to always say the right thing. For example, I showed Chris my closets and said, "I have a shopping problem." You know what he said? "You don't have a shopping problem. You have a SPACE problem." Someone give that man a medal! No wonder he was Rookie Realtor of the Year! (Did I mention that already?)If you're an HGTV addict like me, I'm sure you've seen many episodes of House Hunters where the realtors are always showing clients houses that are out of their price range. Chris never did that. We told him our budget and he stuck to it. Also on House Hunters, the realtors are constantly putting pressure on their clients, making them feel like if they don't make an offer right that second, they will lose every house they look at. Chris never did that either. He provided us with all the facts at each showing, but never pressured us to buy. If I had to do the home buying process over and I could choose any realtor to work with, I would definitely choose Chris. Unless maybe I got to be on HGTV's Fixer Upper and work with Jo and Chip (Don't judge me! A girl can dream!), but then and only then, would Chris run a close second. He truly loves what he does and I saw that from the moment my husband and I began working with him. From our first interview with him,Todd did an excellent job of explaining how he markets houses and works with clients. He was always there to answer questions and offer advice on anything from what to do to spruce up to show the house to what reasonable counter offers might be. However, he allowed us to make the final decision in all matters.. He and his Group gave the house good exposure (sign, mailings, and Open House), so we had showings immediately. After a month, we had 2 offers and accepted one. We closed in another 30 days.Todd and his team made the paperwork process easy. He helped us be realistic about competitive pricing for the area and what we could expect as demands from potential buyers. He or his staff gave weekly updates on progress.I would highly recommend Todd to any family and friends looking to sell a house in this area.

Todd Paxton was my agent when I bought my first home in 2005 and again in 2012/2013 when my husband and I sold that house and built our "forever home." Throughout the buying, selling, and building processes, he was an advocate for what was best for us. He gave honest advice when we needed it, and negotiated the most fair deal for us in all situations. When I bought my first home, he was careful to explain the real estate process and how it works with offers and counteroffers. When we hit a snag because the original seller didn't actually outright own the house, Todd went out of his way to track down the real owner and he ended up accepting my original offer. When my husband and I decided we wanted to build a home, I was extremely nervous because we were making quite a jump from our starter home to what we ended up building. Todd was genuinely concerned about my concerns and was available anytime I needed to double-check our decision making. His advice was always spot on. Todd wasn't pushy in our process to build. He showed us several options and builders before we made our decision. Once the builder became involved, Todd was never farther than a phone call away when we had questions. He served as an excellent source of wisdom in the entire process. He stepped in when we needed help with a minor issue and made sure were getting exactly what we wanted with our custom home. With the selling of our starter home, Todd met with us and gave us advice on the small things we could do to give our home the most appeal. His guidance paid off as we had an accepted offer within eight days of going on the market. Even after the closing of our new home, Todd continues to be available to us with pieces of advice on tax issues, vendor recommendations for additional home improvements, or neighborhood development information. He is the epitome of great customer service. Todd's knowledge of market trends, mixed with his intuition about buyers and sellers creates a combination of skills that you want representing you in any real estate transaction.
