We are from Michigan and when we decided to look for a aEURoesnowbird nestaEUR? in Alabama, we hardly knew where to start. We had identified a number of homes we liked online but finding a realtor felt like a crapshoot. We decided to try on online service called Home Light that matched you to realtors in the area. They would make a recommendation but would also notify a few other realtors to contact the potential buyers. Ginger Hagenberg, from IXL Real Estate, contacted us almost immediately. We decided to go with her instead of the one recommended to us by the website aEUR" call it aEURoefollowing our gutaEUR? aEUR" and we are so very glad we did. We faced some very particular challenges that Ginger met in stride. First, we only had a week in which to look at the houses so time was at a premium. Ginger coordinated showings and clumped them together by location as much as possible. While we would be looking at one house, she was frequently on the phone finalizing arrangements with another in order to maximize our efforts. She deftly worked with other realtors and home owners aEUR" even private sellers. She is a kind, friendly and able communicator. She basically dedicated almost two full days and didnt cringe when we located aEURoejust one moreaEUR? to see. She located and suggested a few that met our criteria as well. She was very knowledgeable about the area and issues specific to purchasing a home in the area (flood plains, piers, termites, etc.). Towards the end of the second day, when it looked like we may not have located our perfect aEURoenest,aEUR? she remained as optimistic and encouraging as when we first met. Then we hit the jackpot! A beautiful home we wanted to call our own. It was higher than we had planned but Ginger helped us through the entire process aEUR" the sellers ended up accepting an offer substantially lower than their asking price and including furniture so we could furnish the home at our leisure. In sum, Ginger Hagenberg is a personable individual and an exemplary realtor who so obviously loves what she does. She gives dedicated time, personalized attention and goes the extra mile. We cannot more strongly recommend a realtor.
