As with most first time home buyers there were a lot of unknowns for us - all the way from renting vs owning to knowing what we could afford and how to get the best bang for our buckaEUR| and we are very picky! We realized it was going to be quite hard getting the right home without paying a hefty price. Most decent homes around here end up above asking with multiple offers.We didnt know this when we started looking, but soon it dawned on us that its very important to work with the right agent. We have known a few agents and tried working with them but its hard to find an agent that would understand your needs and desires, financial situation, your picky nature.. :) aEUR| and relentlessly keep showing you homes for more than a year. Not to mention work with you to make the right offers that YOU want to give and not what will click (which most of the time is above asking in this area). Few other key aspects - price negotiation, hand holding through out the process, including inspections, identify/advice on major repairs, re-negotiate with seller to get appropriate credits, work with the bank and escrow on unreasonable charges and most importantly hold that seller firm when delays happen in closing.We knew it was hard but we did get the right agent.. thanks to the Bhagat group!! With vast experience and a kind nature, Rahul and Surbhi Bhagat, got us through the otherwise intimidating process with ease. We enjoyed their vast experience, negotiation skills and not to mention the network of resources they brought to the table.We are now in our new home, still unpacking but happy that we made the right choices.We hope you enjoy the same experience as we did by choosing the Bhagats.Good wishes to all you home hunters and best of luck!

Rahul and Surbhi are simply the best! My parents worked with them for over a year to buy their perfect house. They looked far and wide, from Torrance to Irvine to Fullerton, and Rahul and Surbhi were always by their side, willing to make the trek up or down the 405 to scout out properties, suggest bids, and answer any other questions my parents had. Rahul is an expert at negotiating with other realtors, contractors, and architects, and Surbhi has an eagle eye for structural things that most people don't notice, especially when theyre walking into staged homes that often sell for thousands above asking with all contingencies removed. Rahul and Surbhi are acutely aware of trends, property values, and what homes are and arent worth the money. On the buying side, they never once pressured my family into making an offer simply to get their commission and call it a day aEUR" they sought out a house that really worked, and even offered to help with contractors to renovate it into my parents dream home!My ex-husband and I also worked with Rahul and Surbhi to sell our condo this past month. To put it simply, they made the process painless from start to finish. In just under a month, we went from listing our property to closing aEUR" and selling for a whopping 20% over asking price! I have worked with other realtors before where numbers were missed or small mistakes were made, and where I had to follow up on things and keep a pulse on the process day by day. This wasnt the case with Rahul and Surbhi, who completed every document carefully and made sure every piece of paperwork was error-free. In addition to proactively keeping us in the loop on the status of our sale, they worked tirelessly to get us every possible dollar, from negotiating on seller and buyer credits to running targeted ads and marketing campaigns on our listing.
