I just closed on the Perfect House! Julie Tallman with Dixon Pacifica made it all happen. Not only was she very willing to take me to see all sorts of places, but she was willing to let me take as long as I wanted and to show me options so that I could make the best possible choice, which I did. First I thought I wanted to build, but quickly changed that idea; then I thought I wanted to take a cute old place and fix it up. Again, when I actually saw what that would involve, it was a no. So I took my rather lengthy list of what I wanted and my budget and we found the best place. My list? VIEW, within A 1/2 hour to Asheville, not on a twisty turny road, one floor, at least 2 bedroom 2 bath, not more than 1,500 square feet, all major systems or things that are super costly to repair either new or recently replaced, in Buncombe County. Julie was there throughout the closing process with names and referrals to those required or desired professionals needed, and even had lots of help with referrals and recommendations unrelated to buying a house. I highly recommend Julie Tallman as a real estate agent who knows the market well, is willing to listen to you and what it is you want, and will go the extra mile to help you get the home you want.
