My husband and I worked with Sergio to find our very first home. He was a pleasure to work with, always super responsive, transparent, and hard-working. We ended up finding the home of our dreams and getting a great deal from it thanks to him - would 100% recommend him and will definitely go to him again if we ever decide to leave our little paradise. At the start of our journey, my husband and I were absolute amateurs (and we really were throughout the whole process). We started looking for homes leveraging the support of a realtor 3 hours away not realizing how critical a good realtor can be; especially in this current market. After getting outbid in 5+ homes we decided to make a change and started looking for local realtors. We interviewed Sergio and another person, and Sergio stood out as being honest and to the point, incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and experienced. He confidently answered all my questions, and even explained his unique strategy for finding his clients homes. He also struck me as a masterful negotiator - and wow he really was! Sergio was super responsive from the beginning, helping us focus our energy on homes that fit our top criteria even if it meant him doing the elimination on his own upfront when we weren't able to get out to work. He visibly demonstrated that he wanted the best for us and not just a quick sell. It only took Sergio two tries before helping us win our first offer; and he guided us every step thereafter as we started inspections. He was supportive when we decided to walk away for personal reasons, even if that meant additional work on his end. We didn't realize that the hard work started after winning the offer until he again won us another offer; beating 20 other offers, and even one that came in higher. Sergio guided us subtly through the inspections again, providing advise when requested but not imposing his point of view. His experience was vital during the inspections as we didn't know how to digest so much information and how to go back to the seller. He helped us navigate between the seller, inspectors, escrow, and reports coming back and got us two different price reductions based on the findings. He was happy to come out to the house to do multiple inspections on the property if that's what it was going to take. Sergio was always 10 steps ahead of everyone, managing risks before they became issues. One specific circumstance that stayed with me was when some of the termite work that was going to be done on the house was halted because the termite company changed its assessment to be much larger scale. Sergio worked with the seller, his management, and the termite company on a reasonable solution before even presenting us with the problem. He didn't want to just bring us an issue without alternatives. It made our decision much easier and prevented us from stressing from this sudden halt.There are other countless stories I can share about our experience working with Sergio; including how he was kind and inclusive of our parents, and how he remained patient with me even though I know I can be pretty demanding and intense at times. He never showed any of this bothering him but instead always had a smile on his face and was quick to answer any questions we had. Sergio - thank you so very much for all your help, guidance, and friendship throughout this process. It has been an emotional rollercoaster, but you kept us sane and hopeful. Your negotiating and stakeholder management skills are top notch and we are so lucky to have had you on our team! THANK YOU!!

We were looking to buy our first home and found Sergio through a friend. As goes with first time home buyers, we started out with broad requirements such as new(ish) construction, something that does not feel like an apartment. We were hoping that the house hunting process wouldn't drag out and we would find a home sooner rather than later.We went out with Sergio for showings 5 different days. Each day would typically consist of 4-5 home showings. Sergio came prepared with copies of the MLS listing details for each home we were going to see that day. During home visits, we never felt rushed and took our time to determine what we liked/didn't like. After the visit, we would communicate the pros and cons to Sergio and our likes/dislikes would be incorporated in the next home listing. We covered many different areas from Long beach to Studio City. By our third trip together, we felt like Sergio knew exactly what we wanted and lo and behold we found our dream home in Pasadena!We found Sergio to be extremely attentive and efficient. Our whole process from starting to look for a home until we got our key to the new home took less than 4 months. We have been living in our new home for 2 months now and absolutely loving it.

Sergio and Nick made the best first impression and impressed me throughout the entire process. Upon meeting Sergio and Nick for what I thought was just an initial meeting to see my home, Sergio came with a huge book that was custom made to show me the local comps, recent sales and market trends. That was the moment I knew I should sell and put this process in Nick and Sergio's hands. Sergio guaranteed me that we would have an offer in no more than 14 days and we had an offer in just 7 days! The buyers agent was a bit inexperienced, so Sergio had to negotiate every step of the way to get us to close on time. Nick even offered to watch my pet rabbit during the process so we could keep a beautiful pet free home during the showings. Sergio keeps you updated every step of the way and though selling and moving is often stressful, I honestly knew everything would work out because Sergio is so confident and communicative. I will absolutely work with Sergio and Nick when I start looking for my next home.
