As first time home-buyers, we were a bit intimidated by the competitive East Bay Market, but we were lucky enough to work with Jake as our buyer's agent. He made the process incredibly easy and smooth. Because Jake is from Alameda, he is incredibly knowledgable about the local eateries, schools, attractions, etc in the area and had lots of recommendations as we toured potential homes. Jake is quick to respond and was able to accommodate our requests to view places within 24 hours or less. We were never worried we would miss out on an opportunity when Jake was on our side. We ended up buying exactly what we were looking for after only our third attempt. We avoided the hassle of a bidding war because Jake listened to what we wanted and found the place for us before it was listed on various property websites. This was possible because of his many professional network connections within the real estate business. The escrow process couldn't have been any smoother, because Jake helps you out every step of the way. He recommended a loan officer for us to use, and she was incredibly quick to respond and answered all of our questions. In 25 seamless days, we were signing closing documents. Everything went according to schedule; despite the holiday season, Jake had the foresight to submit things a little earlier so that the processing of our title wouldn't be delayed due to Christmas/New Year.
