Our neighborhood in Inverness has never been a hot real estate market. Many of the houses that were going on the market were dated and languished on the market for months. Some were listed and then re-listed with a different realtor try to sell them. We noticed that the houses that were finally selling had Diana Matichyn signs in the yard. We decided that she must be a worker if she was getting results. And she is! Diana arrived at our first meeting with an understanding of our neighborhood and a full marketing plan. We had a number of personal commitments that required us to postpone listing our property publicly for a few months, but Diana was patient and worked on generating buzz for the eventual listing. Her preparation and social media previews worked great. We had over a dozen showings scheduled within hours of our house hitting MLS and received multiple offers within 24 hours. Diana worked her negotiating magic and got us a sale price that was higher than our most optimistic number.Selling a house is an incredible amount of work and stress, but Diana made the selling part easy. Diana has been absolutely amazing to work with. From the start she has been very responsive to our needs and is easily accessible when we needed something (typically responding to our emails within an hour).When we found houses that we wanted to see, she was very accommodating to our difficult work schedules (usually starting the first showing at 7:30 pm) and was still able to arrange for us to see them within a few days of the request.Finally, her negotiating skills were quite impressive. As first time home buyers, we were very tentative and naive in the negotiating practices and she handled everything very professionally and got us an even better deal than we were looking for. My family and I had the pleasure of working with Diana again. This time we engaged her to sell my mother's exisiting home and purchase of a townhome. My mother is in her 70's and had a lot of trepidation about moving and downsizing. Diana couldn't have been more gracious and more patient with my mother. She even offered to assist with an estate sale to help my mother with the process of downsizing. She patiently walked my mother through the sale process and was available every step of the way. The transition couldn't have gone any smoother. I was so impressed with the technology she use to advertise the property.....very professional, very impressive.
