Moving from Colorado to Kansas was a daunting situation to begin with, but finding a realtor just compounded the stress. Realtors would often not return our inquiries, refuse to travel to areas we wanted to look at, let alone find us a home that worked for us. That was until we found Luke Thompson. From the first call to him we knew we had found the solution. He made the process very easy and got us into our home. On a trip from Colorado we called him, out of the blue, because our third realtor backed out. He immediately jumped into action and the next day we were looking at houses. He took us all over the area, ultimately finding us the perfect house. We, however, were unable to stay in Kansas during the process. Luke made this completely simple through his use of electronic signing of documents. It streamlined the process allowing us to get most of everything done from Colorado. Additionally, he was knowledgable in what to look for with inspections and in turn was able to negotiate for things that we required to fix the problems. Our son worked with Luke a few years ago when he bought his home. We had the good fortune to be able to go on several house visits with our son and Luke was very professional working with a younger first time home buyer. He knew the properties we viewed and was able to answer many of the questions posed to him. One property needed some electrical upgrades and he contacted a local electrician and within a few days had a proposal from the contractor. This showed us that Luke is a quality realtor willing to go the extra steps.We currently live 6 hours away from Topeka, so we are not able to set up a walk-through immediately after a house came on the market. With our search, Luke provided daily new listings for us to view and was eager to get our ideas and "wish list" to view when we were in town. With the property we selected, he walked us through the process and provided us with a long-term value analysis that helped with our decision. As with our son's experience, there were items in the house we felt needed a second look at so Luke arranged for a whole-house inspection which led to a couple of other inspections, sewer, roof, & electrical, and then negotiated on our behalf with the sellers to get as many of the issues resolved with them paying the cost. Luke is diligent and meticulous and works hard for his clients. I would highly recommend Luke Thompson as your realtor.Luke contacted the sellers and discussed our bid offer and was told they were firm on their price. So we started looking again at properties. Two days later he contacted me and said the sellers had left him a voice message that they were countering our offer and was willing to negotiate. So Luke got the wheels in motion again and we struck a deal. He arranged for all the inspections and discussed the recommendations with the sellers and got a great deal for us!In dealing with Luke on this purchase, we utilized emails, texts and phone calls to set viewing schedules and when the time came to view the properties he was in communication with us to make sure we found the location and got to take all the time we wanted to view. We never felt like Luke had another appointment following ours; he took the time we wanted and needed.The sales experience for us was informative and very pleasant, not rushed or pressured. It was a real pleasure working with Luke Thompson as our realtor!

We are the couple that got to join with Luke in selling his first house. Luke had been through the process from the buyers side but this was his first on the sellers side. You never would have known as Luke was the ultimate professional from the evaluation of our houses value to the final closing. I couldnt have asked for our deal to go any better as Luke listed and closed on our house within 30 days. This was a huge surprise/relief to us as house values were starting to drop and houses werent moving very quickly at that time.Lukes best attributes were his attentiveness and his ability/want to listen and understand our thoughts and concerns. These abilities were key to us maximizing our houses value. Luke always made us feel like we were a priority no matter what else he had going on. I would recommend Luke to anyone who would listen.
