I contacted Richard when I was thinking of selling my home, in which I had lived for 45 years. He reached out to me in a kind and professional manner, did not rush my final decision to list the house, and kept in touch with me on a regular basis. These were important factors in engaging Richard as my agent. The process of listing the house was smooth. He met with me, and suggested a listing price that was well within the market value that I expected. Richard went above and beyond during the time when we had Open Houses for fellow agents and prospective buyers, and individual showings. When offers came in, he was a superb negotiator in securing me the best price possible, which turned out to be well above the asking price. He answered my calls and texts no matter when I sent them: the lines of commutation were always open between us. I am a widow and was doing this on my own, and I always felt that he was in my corner. He facilitated paperwork, even to delivering it himself to the proper person(s) so as not to delay the contract or closing. Richard was not just my agent, but an advocate for me and my interests in the sale. His professionalism and caring speaks for itself, and I would give him my highest recommendation to anyone who is selling their house or property.

Ill tell you the things that Rich is not... He is not pushy, flaky, condescending, unnecessarily aggressive, etc. As a first time home buyer, just in from out of state, this is everything. Ive dealt with realtors (some more challenging than others) when I considered renting but thank goodness for Rich! I moved to this area from a bit south of here but not way down south. Still, Rich appealed to the southern hospitality side of me. He is honest and forthcoming with his comments and opinions without being disrespectful. He did not push when I decided to put my search on hold. He did not push when I was unsure about a place that I aEURoelovedaEUR?. He is so personable and I am so glad he was recommended to me. Rich will provide recommendations and references as needed throughout the home buying journey...which is incredibly helpful to someone from out of state. Rich was patient as I did my due diligence on everything from checking references to pricing out various services to repeatedly asking some of the craziest questions he has probably ever heard! Yet, he has been there for me day after day... There were times that Rich called to basically talk me off a ledge because he sensed that something was troubling me. Seriously... he just knew and it was so helpful to be able to just chat with him. When he finally did aEURoepushaEUR? me to make an offer, its because he was able to tell that in my heart of hearts that this was THE place for me. We definitely clicked as a realtor and client. Rich got me through the entire process, and practically held my hand through closing. Not only did I close on the home I really wanted and belong, I gained a great friend.
