William Hendricks

William Hendricks is a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer with over 25 years experience in the financial services industry. He has held licenses in insurance, investments, and mortgages. He started as a teller with a local bank while in college and fell asleep at the drive thru while studying on a slow day. The customer actually tooted their horn to wake him up! William received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1991 and worked his way up from retail banking into management. After leaving the banking world in 1997, he started working for a mortgage broker, then took a few years to represent a major financial services company where he helped clients put together financial game plans and got his Mortgage Broker's License. This experience has given him a unique perspective in evaluating his clients' needs. William grew up in Highland Springs, VA and currently lives with his wife and 3 boys in Mechanicsville, VA. Specialties: Working with clients, builders & realtors through timely, effective and patient communication throughout the mortgage process so that the only surprises at closing are pleasant ones!
